Group 2
Town faced Station Bar and a good first half the away side led by the odd goal in 3 but the visitors stepped up in the pressure in the second half and ended winners by scoring 6 goals to 2. Scorers for Statin were Marc Walker 2 and one each from Damie Duncan, Chris McLean, Gavin Brown and an own goal and for the home side was Gregor McNeil and Lachlan Stewart.

Group 4
Elizabethan Link Up faced Mormond Thistle and on a very wind day in Fraserburgh it was League 1 side that prevailed winning by 5 goals to 1. Mormond scorers were Fraser Davidson with a hatrick and Ryan Grieg and Charlie Scott with the others and for the home side was Martin Aitkinhead.

Sunday 1 November 2020
Group 1
MacDuff had home advantage over Peterhead United and the away side were far too strong and ran out comfortable winners scoring 7 times without reply. Scorers were Alexander Hastie with a hatrick, Nick McLeod a brace and one each from DeeJay Brown and Kevin Lynch

Group 2
New commers Boddam United faced New Pitsligo and it was a goal feast as Pitsligo went on to score 12 times without reply. Andrew Ferguson scored 4 times, braces from Jordan Osler and Wayne Buchan and one each from Greg Thompson, Grant Gilbert, Jack Donaldson, and Jake Thompson. The home side Had Ben Lorimer sent off for 2 cautions.

Group 3
Buchanhaven faced Longside Thistle in another group game and the home side shone with a 7-nil display with 7 different goal scorers. James Timmins, Chris Harris, Matthew Cowe, Craig Murphy, Ewen McLeman, Kevin Warrander and Andrew Norris.

Group 4
Methlick faced multiple League 1 winners Invercairn United and the home side made the perfect start scoring 2 quick goals by Kenny Mair and James Gracey, United hit back when Stuart Noble pulled one back on the stroke of half time. Into the second half and Scott Milne drew the visitor’s level which ended the scoring.

Sunday 8 November
Group 1
United faced a tough Mintlaw side today at Barclay park. The home side Started off well in the first 10/15 mins with some great football, United took first blood when Sponger flicked the ball on to allow Greg Hastie in to slot it home to make it 1 0.
United rode there luck for a good while way Mintlaw just attack after attack. Mintlaw then levelled the game with a poor clearance only to a Darren Steele to slip the ball under keepers foot. Second half was all Mintlaw with a surge of attacks and only good defending and fine goal keeping saw the game end all square.

Group 3
New Pitsligo faced Cuminestown in a group 2 match with the home side looking for a second win in a row but found Town hard to break down and the away side produced a fine performance winning by the odd goal in five. Town scorers were Ryan Acott who netted a brace and one from Duncan Will and for the home side was Andrew Ferguson and David Innes.

Saturday 14 Nov Gordon Leask Memorial Cup
Group 1 This saw Mintlaw playing host to MacDuff and after a spirited first half by MacDuff going in at the interval trailing league 1 side by 2 goals but the home side went on to score another 4 goals to run out comfortable winners by 7 goals to one. Mintlaw scorers were Kane McRory with 2 and one each from Shaun Jamieson, Sean park, Darren Steele, Sean Flett an an own goal and for MacDuff was Kacper Kwaithowski.

GROUP 2 This saw Glenugie United face Cuminestown and in a close game which saw the away side leading by 3 goals to 2 with 10 minutes left only to concede 2 late goals leaving the home side winners in a very entertaining game. Glenugie scorers were Cameron brown with a second hatrick in 2 games and one from Steve Wilson and for Town were Duncan Will, Natahan Fraser and Ryan Acott.

Another Group 2 match saw Station play New Pitsligo and the home side ran out winners scoring times without reply in an impressive manner. One flash point in the game saw Pitsligo player David Innes sent off. Station scorer were Marc Cordiner 2, Marc Walker, Dean peacock, bob Buchan and Jack Taylor.

Group 3 This saw Banff Rovers play Longside |Thistle and the home side were far too strong for league 2 side Longside who had Jamie McNeill red carded during the game. Banff scorers were Branden Watson, Bradley Henderson and Aaron West all scoring a brace each and one a piece from Johnny Pratt, Shaun McLeod and Chris Blackhall.

Group 4
This saw Mormond Thistle with 2 wins out of 2 so far and cup holders Invercairn United and in a tight match it was Mormond Thistle who are the first team to make the Quarter Finals after winning by the odd goal in three. Mormond scorers were Jake Rennie and Liam Allan and for United was Jonathon Garden.

Sunday 15 Nov Gordon Leask Memorial Cup
Group 1 This saw Peterhead United face Bellslea and after a goalless first half Darren Ritchie 25 yard shot into the top corner to give the home side the lead. Daren Anderson 20 yard grass cutter levelled the game and the visitors scored twice in the last 10 minutes through Neil Holland go win the match and give Bellslea a deserved win making it 2 wins out of 2.

Group 3 Methlick played host to Elizabethan Link Up and the home side needed to win by 4 goals to qualify the last 8. It was an exciting match which was won by scoring in the last minute of the match by the away side. Scorers for Link Up were Shane Wall, David Dalgarno and Calum Buchan and for the home side was James Gracey and Kevin Taylor.

Group 4 This game was between to local sides Buchanhaven against Haven. The home side took the lead then Haven hit back to go 3-1 ahead. Buchanhaven pulled one back just before half time 2-3. Then they scored another 2 to go ahead 4-3 before Haven scored 3 more goals to run out winners by 6 goals to 4. Haven scorers were Martyn Duncan and Matthew West both betting twice and one each from Stephen Davidson and Jordan Abolgassem and replying for the home side was Mark Munro with a double and one each from James Timmins and Ewen McLeman.

Saturday 21 November Gordon Leask Memorial Cup
Group 1
St Combs faced Peterhead United in a group 1 game with both sides needing to win to have any chance of making the last 8.in a tight match it was United who gathered all 3 points scoring 2 times without reply. Scorers were Daniel Pirie and Darren Ritchie.

Group 2
Boddam United faced Cuminestown and this one finished in a comfortable win for the away side by 6 goals to 1. Scorers for Town were braced from Duncan Will and lachlan Stewart and one each from Nathan Fraser and Scott Jessiman and for home side was Matthew Daniel.

A other group 2 side saw station Bar face Glenugie United with both sides having won 2 games already. United started the better and it took them 30 mins to open the scoring with a superb 25 yard strike by in form Cameron Brown. In the second half Station drew level when Cordiner finished off after good work by Walker on the left.Then the home side took the lead when United keeper Spiled a Station free kick and Damie Duncan was first to react to score. It looked like Station were going
To win a 3rd game until the 90.minute when Brown wriggled free on left drive into box and his shot went through Mair in the home goal. The Final whistle went and it ended a draw which was a fair result. This match was played in a very good sporting manner by both sides.

Group 3
This saw Haven face Banff Rovers with the away side needing a strong win to have any chance of reaching the last 8. In a high scoring match the visitors went onto win by 6 goals to 3. Rovers scorers were a hat trick from Chris Blackwell and 1 a piece fronBradley Henderson, Johnny Pratt and Kieran Buchan and replying for Haven wS a brace from Steven Davidson and one from Matthew Bruce.
This leaves Banff Rovers, Buchanhaven and Haven all level on 6 points. Goal difference saw Banff Rovers on top and with Buchanhaven and Haven having same goal difference it went to head to head with Haven prevailing.

Sunday 22 November Gordon Leask Memorial Cup
Group 1 MacDuff played host to Bellslea with thecaway side needed a win to book their place in the last 8 with a game to space. The visitors fired in 6 before half time andceven with a better second half for the home side, it ended in Bellslea winning by 7 goals to 2. Bellslea scorers were Martin Anderson with a hatrick, Graeme McLenan, Reece Duncan, Neil Holland and Will Ramsey with the rest and for the home side was Kieran Neish and Nojus Cerinauskas.

Results- Group 1- St Combs 0 Peterhead United 2, MacDuff 2 Bellslea 7, Group 2- Boddam United 1 Cuminestown 6, Station 2 Glenugie United 2, Group 3- Haven 3 Banff Rovers 6

Saturday 28 November Gordon Leask Memorial Cup
Group 1 Bellslea faced Mintlaw in a group 1 match and a close game was expected and it finished with Mintlaw winning by 4 goals to 2. Mintlaw scorers were Marc McQueen 2 and James Pryor and Sean Park with the others and for Bellslea was Reece Duncan and Jason Morrison.

Another group 1 match saw St Combs face Mac Duff and the home side ran out winners by scoring 6 times without reply. Scorers were Shaun McDonald 2 and Ronald McQueen, Daniel Simpson, Steve Tait and an own goal. This was a better game than the score line suggest.

Group 2-New Pitsligo faced the unbeaten Glenugie United and it was the away side that come up with another fine performance scoring 4 times without reply. scorers were Calum Fraser, Euan Colquhoun, Scott Tonks and Callum Gasson.

Quarter Final
Mormond Thistle faced Haven for a place in the semi Final and a close game was expected and it ended with the home side continuing their fine form going on to win by the odd goal in 3. Mormond scorers were Neil Thomson and Daniel Smith and for Haven was PA Smith.

Second Quarter Final was between new boys Banff Rovers and holders Invercairn United and a tough game was expected and after 90 minutes the game was goalless so into a penalty shootout which the cup holder won 4-2. Both sides had a player sent off inside 30 minutes, Watson for Banff and Milne from Invercairn.

Sunday 29 November Gordon Leask Memorial Cup
Group 1-Boddam United faced Station Bar in last game of group 2 and the new comers were no match for Station Bar who ran out winners by 9 goals to 1. Station scorers were Marc Cordiner and Ryan Urquhart both with a hatrick, Dan Callaghan a brace and one from Marc Walker and for Boddam was Michael Murray.

Saturday 5 December
Gordon Leask Memorial Cup

Group 1 Mintlaw needed a win against St Combs to top group 1 and go through to the Quarter Finals. The match ended with Mintlaw winning by 3 goals to 1. Shaun Jamieson with a brace and one from Marc McQueen and for St Combs was Jon Pinder.

Saturday 12 December Gordon Leask Memorial Cup
Quarter Final-Mintlaw from league 1 welcomed Glenugie qq--United from league 2 for a Semi Final place and the home side continue their fine form running out winners by 7 goals to 2. This was a game too far for United with Mintlaw being too strong for them. Mintlaw scorers were Little with a hatrick and one each from McRory, Pryor, Fordyce and Findlay and for United was Phillips and Wilson.

The other Quarter Final was between Station and Bellslea and in a 9 goal thriller it was the home side who go through to the Semi Finals. Station scorers were Campbell a hatrick, Walker and GoalKeeper Campbell from his own box and for Bellslea was Duncan with a double and one each from Morrison and Rodger.
