Saturday 21 November Scottish Cup 2nd rd
Mormond Thistle faced local side Cuminestown and it was the home side that progress's through after a 4 goals to 2 win. The goals came from Dale Allan with a brace and one a piece from Fraser Anderson and Ryan Grieg.

Bellslea faced Forth Valley league team St Ninians, Bellslea opened play with some good football in the opening minutes forcing some half chances, after 20 minutes Daniel Cowie scored straight from a corner, St Ninians forced a brilliant save from McRobb, unfortunately for Bellslea St Ninians equalised with a header from a corner, St Ninians made it 2-1 after 40 minutes with a free kick into the top corner from 25 yards, into the second half and both teams came out attacking and St Ninians made it 3-1 with a header, Bellslea pulled a goal back through Falconer with a finish from the edge of the box, almost immediately a mix up between Ross and McRobb allowed St Ninians to male it 4-2, Bellslea lifted the tempo and with 10 minutes to
go Bellslea made it 4-3with a volley from Moir, Bellslea pushed for an equaliser forcing away keeper into some good saves., they made it 4 all with 5 minutes to go through a finish by Falconer. into extra time and Bellslea started to pile on the pressure with Falconer hitting the bar and Ninians keeper saving. Bellslea made it 5-4 with 2 minutes remaining and held out for a well deserved win.

Elizabethan Link Up faced Montrose Welfare side Neptune Bar. The away side went ahead then goals from Arron McDonald and John McKinnon put the home side in front. The away side drew level after a mistake by the home defence. Goals from John McKinnon and another 2 from Arron McDonald say the home side home and a comfortable passage through to the next round.

Invercairn United Hosted Forth Valley side The Cairn who arrived very late for the match but on the park they were no match for the recent promoted side Invercairn United with the home side hitting double figured scoring 10 without reply. Scorers were James Gibb who netted 5 times, Andrew Whyte 2, and one each from Lewis Tait, Jordan Guald and Stuart Noble.

Peterhead United travelled to face Dollar Glen and were very unlucky to loose by the odd goal in three.

New Deer were 2 goals down at half time against Dollar Glen but hit back in the second half with a goal from Mikey Rhynd and went on to hit the woodwork 3 times but couldn't find an equaliser.

Sat 27 Feb -Scottish Cup 3rd rd
Mormond Thistle travelled to face Hillside with a place in the last 8 up for grabs and it was the North East side Mormond Thistle who went through courtesy of a single goal scored by Ryan Cook.

Gordon Leask Cup Group 3
Cuminestown faced Bellslea and the away side won by 10 goals to 3, The scorers for Bellslea were Scott Falconer with a hatrick, braces from Daryl Allan and Reece Duncan and one each from Daniel Cowie, Chris Mackie and an own goal.

Sat 11 March-Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Group 2 Clinton Thistle had New Pitsligo in their first group game and the home side went on to win by scoring 3 goals without reply. The home side scorers were Lee Lawrence with a brace and one from Neil Holland.

Group 3
Faithlie United got their cup group game off to a flyer winning by 7 goals to 3 against Cuminestown. The home goals came from John MacKinnon with a hatrick and one each from Cameron Hutton, Andrew Reid, Barry Stephen and Jamie Martin.

Group 4
Buchanhaven faced Mormond Thistle in a group 4 match and the home side went ahead with a goal from Kevin Warrander but the visitors hit back to level the game with a goal from Jordan Jamieson.

Scottish Cup Quarter Final
Invercairn United entertained Cup holders Clinton Thistle for a place in the Semi Final and a close game was expected. It was goalless at half time but the home side took control in the second half with goals from James Gibb and Andrew Whyte to take a two goal lead although the away side pulled one goal back through Shaun Ross, it was too late in the game and Invercairn United go through to the Semi Finals.

Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Group 1
New Deer were facing Elizabethan Link Up and the visitors went in front early on, the home side hit back with 4 goals before the interval with goals from Willie Robbie, Marc McLaren, Kevin Cameron and Leslie Fulton. Ryan Donnell and Andrew Fowlie added another 2 in the second half. Both teams had a player sent off in the second half.

Longside Thistle faced Peterhead United and the home side went in front through Josh McCrae, the visitors hit back through Chris Reid then a Penalty by Paul Cluiet. United then missed a few good chances to extend their lead but failed to convert any. McRae levelled the score before half time then in the second half Duncan Fraser put the home side ahead but in the dying minutes Andrew Norris popped up to level the match.

Group 2
New Pitsligo faced Peterhead side Balmoor and in a high scoring game the home side won by 7 goas to 3. The home scorers were Neil Christie and Michael Fraser both netting two apiece and one each form James Cassie, Jamie Wilson and Phil Robertson and for the away side was Mark Walker with 2 and the other from Mark Cordiner.

Group 3
Panasonic faced Cuminestown and this one ended with a home win scoring two goals without reply. The goals were scored from James Brookes and Reece Brown.

Group 4
Mintlaw Fc faced Mormond Thistle and in another tight game the away side went on to win by the odd goal in three. The winning goals came from Matthew Bain who netted both and relying for the home side was Michael Jardine.

Methlick faced Buchanhaven in another Group 4 match and the home side went on to win by the odd goal in three. Scoring both goals for the home side was striker Kevin Taylor.

Sat 26 March
Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Group 1
Longside Thistle were home against New Deer and it was goalless at half time but a brace from hit man Marc McLaren gave the visitors all 3 points and 2 wins in a row

Group 2
Balmoor were hosts to Clinton Thistle and it was the away side that ran out winners by scoring 5 goals without reply. Scorers for Clinton were Lee Lawrence and Neil Holland both netting a brace each and one from Daniel Smith.
Another Group 2 game was between St Combs and New Pitsligo but this match was abandon after 20 minutes due to high winds.

Group 3
Panasonic had home advantage over Faithlie United and a close match was expected and was proved correct with the away side winning by the odd goal in 3. The Faithlie goals came from Cameron Hutton with the first one and Jamie Martin with the second and replying for the home side was Liam Tinney.

Group 4
Buchanhaven FC faced Mintlaw FC and it was all three points to the away side scoring 3 goals without reply. Goal scorers were Bruce Munro, Michael Jardine and Jake Leslie.

Soccerworld League
Cuminestown entertained Mormond Thistle and the visitors net their league season off to a flyer winning by scoring four goals without reply. Scorers were Michael Cardno, Calum Brown, Don Allan and Liam Allan.

Scottish Cup Quarter Final
Bellslea entertained Forth Valley side Dollar Glen and it was the North East Club Bellslea who march through to the Semi Final after winning by 3 goals to 1. The winning goals were scored by Scott Falconer who netted a brace and one from Scott Ritchie. This leaves a minimum of 2 North East teams left in the Semis and with the possibility of a third in Mormond Thistle who face Stag Bar next Saturday.

Saturday 2 April-Gordon Leask Memorial Cup
Group 1
Elizabethan Link Up faced Longside Thistle in a group game and it was the away side that took their chances and scored 3 goals without reply. The goals were scored by Kris Keith, Josh McCrae and Luke Stephen.

In another group 1 game was between New Deer and Peterhead United and the home side went in 2 goals up at half time with 2 goals from Marc McLaren. At the start of the second half McLaren netted his third and New Deer’s third goal. Back came the away side with goals from Michael Hay and Johnny McGarroll. It stayed that way until the 92 minute when up popped Kevin Lynch to net the equalising goal for United.

Group 2
Clinton Thistle face St Combs and the away side took the lead through a John Smith goal. The home side scored twice through Shaun Sim and Willie Noble, the second being a dubious penalty. Scott Milne netted a third for the home side. The away side had their chances with Matthew Gordon missing a late pen, the home keeper had 2 fine saves from John Smith and Allan Taylor and Shane Sutherland hit the bar.

Group 3
Bellslea played hosts to Panasonic and the match was played in good spirits on a shocking pitch. Both teams cancelled eh other out for the first 20 minutes. Bellslea went in front after a through ball by Ritchie into Falconer who finished from the edge of the box. Into the second half and a mistake let in Nathan Taylor to level the score. Falconer then netted his second to put the home side back in front before James Brookes levelled the match again. The home side got the winner from a close finish by Davie Ross.

Deejays Nightclub League
Mintlaw FC opened their league campaign against Peterhead side Balmoor and it finished all square with both sides netting twice. The home goals were both scored by Darren Steele and replying for the visitors was Damie Duncan and Mark Cordiner.

Invercairn United faced Faithlie United and the home side went 3 nil up inside 11 minutes but the visitors scored 3 times inside 3 minutes to level the score at half time. The home side went back in front again by scoring a fourth goal but Faithlie hit back to level in the last minute for a deserved draw. Scorers for the home side were James Gibb with a brace and one a piece from Gary Summers and Blair Watson and for the visitors was Jamie Martin a brace and one each from Bruce Strachan and John McKinnon.

Scottish Cup Quarter Final
Mormond Thistle faced The Star for a place in the Semi Finals up for grabs. It was the home side that progressed but needed extra time to complete the job, they won by 5 goals to 3. Scorers were Dale Allan and Fraser Anderson both netting twice each and one from Ryan Cook.

Sunday 3 April Soccerworld Scotland league
Buchanhaven faced Methlick in both their first league games of the season and a tight match was expected. It ended with the away team taking all 3 points with Simon Tempest scoring the only goal of the game.

In another league game Cuminestown played hosts to Ardallie and it was the away side that get their season off to a good start winning by the odd goal in seven. Ardallie scorers were Jack Stuart with a hatrick and one from Mikey Gordon and for the home side was Andrew Howe, Willie Wilson and Neale Bisset.

Saturday 9 April - Deejays Nightclub League Panasonic played hosts to last season’s Title holders Clinton Thistle and it was a stroll for the visitors scoring 11 without reply. Clinton scorers were Willie Noble netted a hatrick, braces from Peter Humphreys, Lee Lawrence and Neil Holland and one a piece from Scott Milne and Daniel Smith.

In another league game Mintlaw Fc get their season off to a great start edging out Faithlie United by the odd goal in three. The home goals came from Martin Smith and an own goal and for the visitors was Martin Buchan.

Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Group 1
Peterhead United faced Elizabethan Link Up and the home side required a win to qualify for the Quarter Finals for the first time in four years and Big G’s men went in front with a goal from Jonny McGarrol. The visitors hit back and 2 goals from Owen Sutherland gave them a lead at the interval. It stayed that way until 70 minutes when the home side were awarded a penalty which McGarrol converted to level the score. Soon after McGarrol got his hatrick and then James Timmins added a fourth for a fine win for the Head.

Group 4 Mormond Thistle entertained Methlick and the home side progress to the Quarter Final topping Group 4 with an 8 goals to 1 win. Scorers for Mormond were Scott Sim with a hatrick, Ross Brown with a brace and one each from Ryan Grieg, Liam Allan and Dale Allan and for the away side was Kevin Taylor.

Soccerworld Scotland League-New Deer faced Ardallie in both their first league games of the season and it ended with the away side winning by the odd goal in five. Ardallie scorers were Fraser Anderson, Craig Shaw and Craig Penny and for the home side was Ryan McDonnell and Mark Thomson.

Thursday 14.04.16 SoccerworldScotland League
Methlick and Peterhead United started their league campaign and it was the visitors that collected all 3 points winning by 6 goals to 1. James Timmins hit the first goal on 6 mins,Simon Tempest equalised for the home side before Barry Shepard gave United the lead on 30mins. Into the second half and Shepard scored a third on 64 min beofre Timmins notched a fourth on 72 and then a fifth on 76 min for his hatrick and then one from Johnny mCGarrol on 91 min. The home side ended the match with 10 men afrer Simon Tempest was red carded. United could have added another 2 goals but pens by Paul Clueit and Johnny McGarrol both missed.

Brucklay Cup Quarter Final
Ardallie faced Buchanhaven for a place in the Semi Final out for grabs and with the home side winning their first 2 league games started them favourites but it was the away side that go through to the Semis scoring 3 goals without reply. Scorers were Ewan McLeman, Pail Rhynd and Steven Forman.

FRiday 15 April-Deejays Nightclub League Balmoor were hosts to Panasonic in a peterhead derby. Sean Beedie gave the visitors the lead early in the game. James Watson added a further two goals before Chris Cameron added a fourth all in the first half. In the second half Michael Waddell was taken down inside the pana box to earn a pen and the Keeper saw red. Marc Walker scored against the stand in keeper Liam Tinney. Minutes later the same happened again and stand in keeper Tinney saw red and again Walker netted the pen. Walker added a third to make it 3-4. Sean Cunningham scored a fifth for Pana before Chris Cameron scored a fine sixth goal. The home side then had Michael Waddell red carded.

Sat 16 April Deejays Nightclub League
Clinton Thistle made it 2 wins in a row after a comfortable win over Elizabethan Link Up by scoring 7 goals without reply. Scorers were Peter Humphreys with a hatrick, Kevin McDonnell with a brace and one each from Willie Noble and Neil Holland.

In another league game St Combs entertained Faithlie United and in a high scoring game the visitors came away with all three points winning by 5 goals to 3. Faithlie scorers were Jamie Martin, own goal, Johnathon Ritchie, Martyn Summers and Matthew Garden and fro the home side was Own goal, Neil Taylor and John Cardno.

Scottish Cup Semi Finals
Bellslea made the long trek to face Maukinhill United and it was the home side that go through to the finals winning by the odd goal in three after extra time. Bellslea count themselves very unlucky with the home side scoring a contentious penalty and winning the game with a goal in the last minute of extra time which looked yards offside but no flag from the officials. Maukinhill now face Invercairn United in the Final.

In the second Semi Invercairn faced Mormond Thistle and it was Invercairn who scored first when a through ball by Whyte was dispatched by James Gibb. They then doubled their lead when they were awarded a penalty which Gibb converted. Just before half time Invercairn keeper Testa made a fine save to prevent Mormond pulling a goal back.Half way through the second half Gary Patterson set up Whyte to score number 3. From the restart Mormond went straight up the park and reduced the lead with a goal from Ryan Cook. Before full time Invercairn scored a fourth goal through Blair Watson.

Monday 18 April SoccerworldScotland League
Pererhead United faced Cuminestown in a league game played in very windy conditions. United led 2 nil at half time but with the wind behind them in the second half hey hit the goal trail going on to win by 11 goals to 2. Scorers for United were Johnny MCGarrol with a hatrick, braces from Paul Clueit and Mark Beagrie and one each from Mark Baker, Paul McLean, Zander Davidson with the goal of the game a delightful lob from wide left into the top,corner and an Own Goal.

Tuesday 19 April - Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Group 2 St Combs faced New Pitsligo and this one ended all square with both sides netting twice. Scorers for the home side was a bace from Steve Tait and replying for the visitors were Scott Michie and Callum Davidson.
In another Group 2 match Invercairn were hosts to Clinton Thistle and the home side raced to a 2 goal lead inside 7 minutes through Andrew Whyte and Liam Reid. On the half hour mark Jordan Gauld added a third before Daniel Smith pulled one back for the visitors. James Gibb netted a further 2 late goals for Invercairn to round off a fine win.

Group 3 Faithlie United rounded off their Group 3 match with a home tie against Bellslea in which both clubs had already qualified for the last 8. It ended with the home side topping the group winning by the odd goal in 7. The home scorers were Matthew Garden with a brace and one a piece from Nathan Sandison and Jordan Gauld and for the visitors was Daryl Allan and 2 own goals.

Group 4 Methlick played hosts to Mintlaw FC and it was a comfortable win for the away side winning by 7 goals to 2. Darren Steele netted a hatrick and one each from Shaun Jamieson, Jake Leslie, Mark Fraser and Michael Jardine and for the home side was James Gracey and Kevin Taylor.

Brucklay Cup Quarter Final New Deer faced neighbours Mormond Thistle and a close game was expected and was proved right when at the interval the game was goalless but in the second half it was the visitors who scored twice through Robbie Wilkinson and Raymond Taylor to go through to the Semi Finals.

Soccerworld Scotland League Ardallie faced Longside Thistle and this one finished with a comfortable win for Longside who went to win by scoring 5 times without reply. Longside scorers were Josh McCrae who netted 4 times and one from Lee Wilby.

Friday 22,April Deejays Nightclub League. Panasonic faced Bellslea for the second time this season, this time in a league game but it ended in the same result with the visitor's winning by the odd goal j. Five. Scorers for Bellslea were Daryl Allan with a hat rich. 2 of which were converted pens and for the home side was James Brooke's and Kevin Norris.

Soccer world Scotland League
Peterhead United faced Buchanhaven in a local derby league march. The home side raced to a 3-1 lead at half time but the away side responded well in the second half but could 't quite get back on terms and the home side da. Out winners by 6 goals to 4 to make it three wins in a row in the league. Scorers for United were Johnny McGarroll and Paul Cluiet both netting a brace each and one a piece from sander Davidson and James Timmins and for Haven was a Hatrick from Ewan McLeman and one from Kevin Warrander.

In another league match Methlick entertained Ardallie with the away side looking for a third league win but it ended with the home side gathering al 3 points winning by the odd goal in five. Methlick scorers were James Gracey with 2 and one from Grant Reid and for the away side was Andrew Adam and an a Own Goal.

Sat 23 April-Soccerworld Scotland League Mormond Thistle faced Longside Thistle and in a close affair it was the home side that keep their impressive start to the season winning by the odd goal in seven. Scoring for the home side were Robbie Wilkinson who netted twice and one each from Ryan Cook and Raymond Taylor.
Deejays Nightclub League Clinton Thistle faced Mintlaw FC and in another close game it was the home side that won by the odd goal in seven. The home scorers were Andrew Ritchie, Scott Milne, Shaun Sim and Peter Humphreys and for the visitors was Darren Lawson who also rattled the post from a 30 yard free kick, Shaun Jamieson and Mark Fraser who was also sent off for a second caution.

Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Group 2 St Combs faced neighbours Invercairn United and it was heading for a goalless first half until the away side were awarded a penalty where Darren Noble was sent off, James Gibb converted the pen. The home side had 3 handball claims with none been given. The second goal came the way of a cross which was assisted by the wind straight in to the net by Lewis Tait. The home side had striker Darren Batty in goals and he nearly scored direct from a kick out forcing Testa making a save.

Highland Cup 1st Rd Buckie United faced Faithlie United and the home side won by scoring 6 goals without reply. Things were made harder when Reid was red carded for the visitors.

Balmoor travelled to Montrose Millgate and it was the visitors that go through winning in extra time by 4 goals to 3. Balmoor scorers were Marc Walker with 2 and one from Craig Good.

New Pitsligo had a tough first round tie facing last year’s finalists RAF Lossiemouth but the home side proved too good and won by 4 goals to 1. The goals came from Neil Forbes, James Cassie, Calum Davidson and Gibby Stephen.

New Deer travelled to face Keith side Ugie Youths and it was the visitors that went in front with a goal from Jack Heatherwick. They doubled their lead when Simon Gemmel scored. The home side pulled a goal back before Jack Heatherwick scored his second for a 3-1 win.

Cuminestown had an early kick off against Elgin Albion and this one ended with the visitors winning by the odd goal in five. Town goals came from Daniel Bruce and Andrew Howe.

Elizabethan Link Up faced a trip to play Lhanbryde Caley and it ended all square at 2 goals apiece. Calum Buchan scored both goals for Link Up but the home side go through in a penalty shootout.

Tuesday 26.04.16 Deejays Nightclub League-Bellslea had home advantage over Mintlaw FC in a league game and a close game was expected and was proved right with the match finishing all square with both clubs scoring once. Bellslea scorer was Reece Duncan and for the away side was Mark Farman.

Soccerworld Scotland League-Mormond Thistle faced Buchanhaven in a league match and it was 2-1 to the home side at half time but the home side hit top form in the second half scored five further goals. Scorers for Mormond were Fraser Anderson with a hatrick, Ryan Grieg with a brace and one each from Martyn Robertson, and Dale Allan and for the visitors was Nathan Taylor.

Terry Sutton Memorial Cup 1st rd-Panasonic faced Clinton Thistle in a first round tie and it was the away side that go through after scoring 4 goals without reply. Clinton scorers were Neil Holland, Andrew Ritchie, Micael Marques and Kevin McDonnell.

Both teams ended the match with 10 men after Calum Davidson, New Pitsligo and Peter Humphreys, Clinton Thistle were red carded.

Cuminestown faced Methlick in a league game and it ended with a win for the away side by 4 goals to 2. The winning goals from Methlick were scored by Grant Finnie and Scott Sinclair both netting twice each and for the home side was a race from Andrew Howe.

Mormond Thistle faced Peterhead United and both sides have won their 3 opening league games. This one ended with the impressive Mormond Thistle keeping up their fine start to the season winning by 6 goals to 1. Mormond Scorers were Ryan Grieg with a brace and one each from Dale Allan, Raymond Taylor, Fraser Anderson and Michael Cardno and for the away side was James Timmins.

Terry Sutton Memorial Cup pre Lim-Longside Thistle faced Ardallie and the away side race to a 3-1 lead, then extending to 4-1 before the home side hit back scoring three times with the last one a header in the 90 minute putting the game into a penalty shootout which the away side won by 4-2. The home scorers were Adam Forman 2, Luke Stephen and James Weir with one a piece and for Ardallie were Neil Murray 2 and one each from David Ingram and Ross Ingram. The winning pens came from David Ingram, Ryan Taylor, Jack Wright and Richard McRobbie.

In another pre lim New Deer faced Bellslea and it was goalless at half time but the home side struck first in the second half with a goal from Ryan MacDonnell then in the last minute Nickolas Shewan added a second for a fine win for the home side.

Mintlaw had Craig Findlay sent off in the first minute.

Tuesday 3 May Deejays Nightclub League Peterhead side Balmoor with new managers at the helm were hosts to Fraserburgh side Bellslea in a league game ad it was a winning start with the home side winning by 4 goals to 2. Balmoor scorers were Michael Waddell with a brace and one each from Marc Walker and AJ Buchan and for the away side was Matthew Rutter and David Ross. The away side finished the match with 9 men after Ross Cardno and David Ross were both red carded.

Elizabethan Link Up faced St Combs in another league game and it ended with a point each with both teams scoring 3 time. The home scorers were Owen Sutherland, Kris Adams and Scott Cowe and replying for the away side was Steve Tait, John Smith and an own goal.

Soccerworld Scotland league-New Deer played host to Peterhead United and it was the home side that took the points winning by 5 goals to 3. The winning goals came from Johnny McGarrol who netted a hatrick and a brace from Paul Cluiet and for the home side was Jack Heatherwick with a brace and one from Ian Duncan. Jack Heatherwick also missed a penalty.

Ardallie faced the unbeaten Mormond Thistle in a league game and the away side kept up their 100% start to the league season winning by scoring 3 goals without reply. Scorers were Fraser Anderson, Ryan Grieg and Scott Sim.

Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Group 2
New Pitsligo faced Invercairn United it ended all square with both sides scoring once each. United to go through to the Quarter Finals to face Peterhead United. Scorer for Pitsligo was Grant Gilbert and for the away side was Colin Hendry with his first goal for United.

Friday 6 May Deejays Nightclub League

Saturday 7 May Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Quarter Final
Mormond Thistle faced Bellslea in their Quarter Final and this one ended in an away win for Bellslea by three goals to one. Bellslea scorers were Scott Falconer with two and one from Scott Ritchie.

Another game was between Faithlie United and Mintlaw and the home side went in at half time a goal up through a goal from Jamie martin but the away side hit back in the second half to level the score when Sean Park scored but with 5 mins remaining Mintlaw were awarded a pen which Darren lawson took and the keeper made a fine save but Lawson reacted well to fire in the rebound. The away side keeper Urquhart made a wonder save in the last minute to put Mintlaw into the Semi Final.

Last Quarter Final was between New Deer and Clinton Thistle and it was a goalless first half but into the second half and the visitors struck with the only goal of the game being scored by Bob Buchan to book their Semi Final place.

Brucklay Cup Quarter Final Cuminestown faced Longside Thistle for a second time in a week and another close game was expected. The visitors struck first with a goal from Jamie Donald but the home side hit back levelling through Andrew Howe. It stayed that way and the tie went into a penalty shootout which the home side won 4-2 to go through to the Semi Final

Monday 9 May Soccerworld Scotland League-Longside Thistle faced Ardallie and the away side took the lead through Wright, Longside hit back with 3 first half goals from Josh McCrae 2 and one from Ryan Scott. The second half brought 4 more for the home side with McCrae netting another 2 and Adam Forman and adding the others.

New Deer get back on track when they faced Methlick and the home side ran out winners by 12 goals to 2. The home scorers were Kevin Cameron who netted 5, Simon Gemmell with 4, a brace from Nick Shewan and one from Ian Duncan and for the away side was Steve Donaldson and Grant Finnie. Both teams finished the match with 10 men after Gracey for Methlick and Duncan from New Deer were red carded.

The other Semi was between Clinton Thistle and Mintlaw Fc and it was the home the Cup holders Clinton who go through to face Invercairn United in the Final after they won by 5 goals to 2. Saturday 14 May Deejays Nightclub League
Two of the top sides met when Bellslea entertained Clinton Thistle. Reece Duncan hit the post on 15 mins for the home side. The rest of the first half teams cancelled out each other. The away side went in front after 60 minutes when the Bellslea keeper tried to take on the Clinton striker only to pass the ball to Clinton player, Bellslea equalised through a Davie Ross header on 70 minutes then the home side went in front on 80 mins when Mackie played Reece Duncan through and he lobbed the away keeper.

In another League one game Mintlaw FC faced neighbours New Pitsligo and another close game was expected and the home side ran out winners to collect all three points with a solitary goal from striker Darren Steele.

In another second round tie New Deer faced Peterhead United and with close games in the past another one was predicted but the home side progress to the Quarter Finals scoring 6 times without reply. In another game Faithlie United faced New Pitsligo and this one ended in a 3 goals to 1 win for the visitors. The winning goals came from James Cassie with a brace and the other came from Grant Stephen and for the home side was John McKinnon.

Bellslea faced Elizabethan Link Up and this was played in a sporting manner, some good football played by both sides. The only goal of the game came for the home team on the half hour mark with a 20 yards curling shot by Reece Duncan.

Monday 23 May Soccerworld Scotland League-Peterhead United faced Longside Thistle and the away side had the better of the first half going in at the break 4 goals to 2 ahead with goals for Lewis Ross with a brace and one each from Mikey Hay and Duncan Fraser and for the home side was Andrew Hepburn and Zander Davidson free kick. Into the second half and the roles were reversed and they were on top and fight back began with a goal from Johnny McGarrol and then Barry Shepard scored the equaliser and with 5 minutes remaining James Timmins struck the winner for the home side.

Ardallie faced New Deer in another league game and it was the away side that went in at half time 1 nil ahead through Jamie Shewan but Ardallie drew level through Neil Murray. New Deer then went in front with a goal from Leslie Fulton before the home side drew level through Brooke McKimmie. With the game heading for a draw the away side struck the winner through Leslie Fulton with 3 minutes remaining.

Another game was between Cuminestown and the away side went in front with a goal from Andrew Howe. Steve Donaldson levelled the score before David Cran restored the visitors lead but a late own goal gave Methlick a share of the spoils.

The home side took the lead with a 25 yard screamer from Arron Gray but John MacKinnon and an own goal gave the visitors the points. Highland Cup 2nd rd-St Combs entertained Mormond Thistle for a place in the third round up for grabs and it was the away side that went on to win by 3 goals to 1. The winning goals came from Robbie Wilkinson, Lewis Cruickshank and Raymond Taylor.

Buchanhaven faced Bellslea and the away side raced to a five goal lead with goals from Reece Duncan from 30 yards into top corner, Daryl Allan with a 20 yard volley, the same played added a further 2 goals and one from Josh McCrae and for the home side was Mark Munro, Justin Shand and Liam Addison.

New Deer travelled to face Elgin Athletic and were comfortably beat by 5 goals to 1.Scorer for New Deer was Simon Gemmel.

In another tie Peterhead United faced a tough tie away again Tain and was proved right after they were easily beaten by 11 goals to nil.

Scottish Cup Final-Invercairn United faced Maukinhill United which was played at the impressive Montrose FC ground. Invercairn had the better chances in the first half but failed to cash in on any of their chances created and in stoppage time in the first half the visitors were awarded a free kick on the edge of the box. Watson shot hit the post but the big defender was first to react to fire home. In the second half. Invercairn drew level when the ball landed at the feet of Michael Lumsden whose shot flew into the top corner. No more goals in the second half and the game went into extra time. It was still stalemate going into the second half of extra time. Maukinhill broke up field and after a superb save by Testa the striker fired wide from 6 yards with an empty goal gapping. The next minute saw Invercairn break and Watson was fouled inside the box earning them a penalty. James Gibb lashed the ball home. Maukinhill were then reduced to 10 men but pressed and Testa produced a terrific save. In the 125 min the Greenock side went close hitting the post then a shot from 12 yards came crashing back off the crossbar. The final whistle blew to the sound of cheers from the Invercairn support.

Sunday Highland Cup 2nd rd
New Pitsligo faced Cup holders Panasonic to the next round winning by a single goal. The goal came from Grant Stephen.

Mintlaw travelled to face Elgin Athletic and came away with a 5 goals to 2 win. Mintlaw scorers were Sean Flett with a hatrick and one each from Chris Wallace and Michael Jardine.

Sat 4 June Deejays Nightclub League
Mintlaw FC faced Elizabethan Link up and this one finished with the home side winning by scoring 2 goals without reply to put them back to the top of the league. Goals came from a Mark Fraser header and a Jake Leslie deflected shot.

Bellslea were up against St Combs and the home side opened the scoring on 12 mins when a Danny Buchan cross come shot was fumbled into the net. Reece Duncan made it two from a free kick. It was 3 after 25 mins when Scott Ritchie scored from 25 yards. David Ross made it 4 with a smart finish from a Milne assist. Recce Duncan made it 5 after 50 mins. St Combs pulled a goal back through John Smith with a cracking finish. Stewart Whyte made it 6-1 and Hadded made it 7 before the end.

Faithlie United faced Peterhead side Panasonic in another league game and it ended in 3 points for the away side after scoring 3 goals without reply. Panasonic scorers were James Watson with a brace and the other was from Liam Tinney.

Monday 6 June Soccerworld Scotland League
Soccerworld Scotland League-Buchanhaven FC Faced Peterhead United in a local derby match and the away side struck first when McGarrol crossed for Youngson to head home. The home side hit back when from a corner Norris controlled and volleyed home. Norris provided Taylor with a tap in then Norris added a third before half time. Norris headed home from a fine cross to make it 4-1, McGarrol reduced the lead with a fine header. A break by Haven and Taylor shot was saved by Gordon but rebounded to Taylor who squeezed it home. The visitors then reduced the lead when Clueit lashed home from a corner before McLeman made no mistake with his finish when he was one on one with Gordon to make it 6-3. Clueit scored again for the away side but ran out of time and the home side get their second win in a row in the league.

Longside Thistle faced Methlick in another league game and the away side led by three goals through Grant Bowie, Grant Finnie and Scott Sinclair, the home side pulled 2 goals back through Jordan Fraser and Lee Wilby but couldn’t find a third and Methlick went home with 3 points.

Thursday 9 June Soccerworld Scotland League
Peterhead United faced Longside Thistle and after a few let offs United went in front with a goal from Andrew Youngson, Clueit came close to doubling the lead but his shot came back off the bar. Longside hit back early in the second half with 2 goals in 3 minutes when Neal Wallace scored then Duncan Fraser gave then the lead. Matthew Cowie made it 3-1 after a deflected shot was fumbled by the United keeper. Substitute Adam Forman made it 4-1 with a clever lob.

Saturday 11 June Deejays Nightclub League
New Pitsligo faced Elizabethan Link Up in another league game and the home side went on to win by 4 goals to 1. Pitsligo scorers were Striker Neil Christie netting a hatrick and one from Calum Davidson and replying for the away side was Daniel Kewley. Link up keeper Gordon McLeman also saved a penalty.

A very young St Combs team faced Bellslea and the away side went in front when Reece Duncan converted a penalty and Josh McCrae added the second goal. St Combs stand in keeper Gavin Bruce was in excellent form throughout the match and the home side even had a 14 year old on the bench.

Invercairn United faced Mintlaw FC in their league game and a close match was expected but it ended with the away side pulling off a fantastic result winning by scoring 5 goals without reply. Mintlaw Fc scorers were Sean Park with a hatrick and one each from Chris Wallace and Sean Flett.

Ship Inn League Cup 1st Rd-A local Derby was between Invercairn United and St Combs and the away side were unlucky to lose by the odd goal in three, 3 goal line clearances in the first half along with the fine form of home keeper Marco Del Testa kept the visitors at bay. Scorers for the home side were James Gibb and Daniel Cowie and replying for the away side was Scott Walker.

Semi Final-Clinton Thistle faced Bellslea and the away side created the best chance in the first half with Ritchie shot being tipped over the bar and from the resulting corner and a Duncan shot cleared off the line by Atkinhead. Humphreys through ball left Holland in on goal but Dimitov made a fine save. Clinton took control of the game with 2 goals inside 5 minutes both from Peter Humphreys, the first a low drive from 20 yards and the second he outpaced the defender and then slotted past Dimitov. Substitute Darren Batty fired in a third from a Milne corner. Bellslea should have scored a consolation goal but McRae miss hit his shot with the goal gapping.

Cuminestown Shield Semi Final- Mormond Thistle faced Ardallie for a place in the Final. At the final whistle it was stalemate with both sides scoring once. Mormond goal came from an own goal and for the visitors was Frazer McDonald. Ardallie won the penalty shootout 4-3 and now face the winner of Cuminestown and Longside Thistle.

Monday 20 June Soccerworld Scotland League-Longside Thistle faced Peterhead United and the away side went in front with a goal from McGarrol, a Shepard bullet made it 2 nil before Lee Wilby pulled a goal back. Table toppers Bellslea met Panasonic in a league game and the home side raced to a 3 goal lead in the first half with 2 goals from Falconer and one from Reece Duncan. Josh McCrae made it 4 nil before Liam Norris pulled one back. Recce Duncan scored a fifth then Jamie Clark scored a second for the visitors and end the scoring.

New Pitsligo were up against Faithlie United in another league game and this one ended all square with both sides netting once. Scorers for Pitsligo was Murray Reid and replying for the away side was Ross Smith.

New Deer faced Cuminestown in a league game and the away side raced to a 7 goal lead at half time and they managed to score another 2 in the second half to end the game 9 nil. Scorers for New Deer were the evergreen Willie Robbie scoring a hatrick, Kevin Cameron also a hatrick, Scott Milne with a brace and one from Stuart Elphinstone.

Terry Sutton Memorial Cup Semi Final
Mormond Thistle faced Invercairn United and the home side went ahead very early when Fraser Anderson converted a penalty. The away side drew level with a goal from Michael Lumsden then with 12 minutes remaining James Gibb popped up with the winner.

The second semi saw Mintlaw face Balmoor and the away side took the lead when Michael Waddell 18 yard shot into the top corner. A Mark Cordiner cross come shot was fumbled into the net by Urquhart. The home keeper then saved a Paul Rhynd penalty. Into the second half a great cross by man if the match Waddell was met perfectly by Walker to head in number 3. On 80 mins a Fraser cross was met by Smith to reduce the lead. With 2 mins remaining another Fraser cross was headed in by Wallace to end the scoring.

Thursday 23.06.16-Mormond Cup Quarter Final
Ardallie faced Peterhead United and the away side took an early lead with a goal from Andrew Youngson and maybe should have added to in the first half but poor finishing left them a goal up at half time. The away side doubled their lead on 62 mins when Timmins set up McGarrol to tap home. Ardallie came back into the match and missed a few chances before earning a penalty but the away keeper Park made an excellent game and went on to be the hero of the night saving time and time again but was finally beaten in the 90 Minute when Ross Schaschke chested in from close. The match ended with the away side going into the Semi Final.

Friday 24.06.16
Ship Inn League Cup Semi Final-This was between Panasonic and Invercairn United and the away side went in 1 up at half time and went on to score another 2in the second half to reach the Final. The goals came from Joran Guald with a brace and thither from James Gibb. The home side ended the match with 10 men after Liam Tinney was red carded.

Deejays Nightclub League-Elizabethan Link Up were facing Clinton Thistle in a league game and this one ended in a win for the away side by five goals to one. The winning goals came from Andrew Ritchie, Martin Aitkenhead, Scot Milne, Darren Batty and shaun Ross and for the home side was Jamie Forsyth.

In another league game Faithlie United played against St Combs and the away side came away with all 3 points in a tight match running out winners by the odd goal in three, Gavin Bruce netted a brace and replying for the home side was Nathan Sandison.

Cuminestown face Longside Thistle in another Quarter Final match and it ended with the away side winning by the odd goal in five. The winning goals came from Lee Wilby, Chris Cameron and Jordan Fraser .and replying for the home side was a brace from Andrew Howe.

Buchanhaven faced New Deer and the away side went close when a Jamie Shewan shot rattled the crossbar. New Deer went in front when Cameron was left free to control the ball and fire home. Gemmel as next to rattle the home crossbar just before half time. Into the second half and Gemmel fired home from 8 yards to double the away side lead. Ewan McLeman pulled a goal back for the home side before a Gemmel shot was deflected past Esson in the home goal. Man of the match Simon Gemmel went on to score number four before getting his hatrick and New Deer fifth goal in off the post.

Highland Cup 3rd rd
Mormond Thistle faced Elgin Thistle and it was all square at full time with both sides netting once. Into extra time and it was the away side that go through winning by 3 goals to 2. Scorers for Mormond were Don Allan and Robbie Wilkinson.

In another 3rd rd tie New Pitsligo played moray side Banff Rovers and it was a comfortable passage for the home side New Pitsligo as they went on to win by 4 goals to 1. Pitsligo scorers were James Cassie, Scott Michie, Gerry McCluskey and Cameron Fenty.

Mintlaw were on their travels to face Moray side Cullen. Mintlaw missed a host of chances before they took the lead on 19 mins when a Fraser cross left Farman a tap in. The home side hit back with the big striker volleying home. Into second half and two quick goals by the same striker gave them 3-1 lead. Mintlaw hit back through Findlay and Steele. In to extra time and Mintlaw were first to score with a second goal from Darren Steele but with the last kick of the match the home side drew level taking the tie into penalties. Hero was Urquhart who saved the first pen and 5 excellent pens by Steele, Munro, Park, Weir and Leslie put Mintlaw into the last 8.

Invercairn United faced Bellslea and after some early exchanges the home side went in front with a strike from 18 yards from Liam Reid. It stayed that way until early in the second half where Bellslea drew level with a goal from Reece Duncan. Minutes later and a free kick from Falconer found the bottom from 20 yards corner then Falconer beat the offside trap and rounded the keeper to put into an empty net to seal all three points.

Soccerworld Scotland League-Buchanhaven F faced Ardallie in a league match and the improving Haven went on to win by 3 goals to 1. Buchanhaven goals all came from Nathan Taylor and replying for the away side was.

Longside Thistle faced league leaders Mormond Thistle and in an entertaining game the away side won by the odd goal in seven. Mormond scorers were Robbie Wilkinson with a hatrick and the other came from Scott Sin and for the home side was David Gourlay, Lee Wilby and Duncan Fraser.

Peterhead United faced New Deer and the home side rushed to a 3 goal lead with goals from Barry Shepard, Alan Geddes and Ryan Grant. New Deer pulled a goal back just on half time through Kevin Cameron. Into the second half and Cameron pulled another back before Nick Shewan levelled the match. Cameron then got his hatrick before Andrew Fowlie made it 5-3. United pulled a late goal back through James Timmins.

Clinton Thistle faced Faithlie United knowing only a win would keep them in the league title hunt and it took a brace from Andrew Ritchie in the first half to settle the game and earn Clinton all three league points.

Mintlaw FC faced Panasonic and a win by the odd goal in five for the visitors all but looks like ending the home sides title chances this year. Scorers for Panasonic were Kevin Norris, Sean Beddie and manager Alan Donaldson and for the home side was Craig Findlay and Sean Flett.

Another league game saw Elizabethan Link Up faced New Pitsligo and it ended with an away win after Pitsligo scored 5 times without reply. Pitsligo goals were scored by Gibby Stephen and Gerald McCluskey with a brace each and one from James Cassie.

Friday 30 July-Deejays Nightclub League
Elizabethan Link Up faced title chasing Bellslea and it ended in a comfortable win for the away side by scoring 6 goals without reply. Bellslea scorers were Matthew Rutter 2, Josh McCrae, Craig Milne with a 25 yard drive and Calum Sinclair with a shot into top corner from edge of box and Grant McDonald.

Balmoor faced St Combs and the away side went in front with Alan Taylor finished with a neat dink over the keeper. Balmoor levelled with a strike from 20 yards through a ruck of players from Jack Taylor. A mix up in the Balmoor defence let in Alan Taylor to net his second. Back came Balmoor after they were awarded a penalty which Marc Walker converted. The home side started the second half better and wasted a few chances before they scored two quick goals through Marc Walker and Damie Duncan. The away side pulled one back with a fine finish from Sam Ogston and with minutes remaining Allan Taylor got his hatrick to earn a point.

Invercairn United faced Panasonic in another league match and it ended in a win for the home side by 10 goals to 4. The home scorers were Scott Porter, Stuart Noble, James Gibb and Colin Hendry all grabbing a brace and one each from JJ Sim and Gary Paterson and for the away side was Kevin Norris and Sean Beedie with 2 each.

Ardallie Cup Group 1-Mormond Thistle faced Methlick and it was another win for Mormond by 4 goals to 1. Mormond scorers were Scott Sherwood with a double and one each from Don Allan andDale Allan and replying for the home side was James Gracey.

Another game saw NewDeer faced Peterhead United, Willie Robbie put the home side ahead before James Timmins levelled the game. Jamie Shewan and Nick Shewan both netted for the home side to give them a 3-1 lead at half time.
Timmins pulled one back for United before Robbie netted the home sides fourth. Simon Gemmel got a fifth goal for NewDeer then Timmins got his hatrick to end in a 5-3 win for NewDeer.

Group 2-Buchanhaven continued their fine form of late when they faced Ardallie going on to score 7Seven goals without reply. Buchanhaven scorers were Ewan McLeman with a hatrick, Nathan Taylor netting a brace and one each from Andrew Norris and James Brookes.

In another group 2 game Longside Thistle faced Cuminestown and this was finished with the home side winning by 4 goals to 2. The winning goals came from Darren Rendall with a brace and one a piece from Matt Cowe and Chris Cameron and for the away side was Andrew Howe and Willie Wilson.

Highland Cup-New Pitsligo made the long trip to face Alness United with a place in the Semi Finals up for grabs and the away side came away with a win with Gibby Stephen getting the vital goal. This was a fine performance by Pitsligo against one of the favourites for the cup.

Mormond Cup
Mormond Cup Semi Final-Longside Thistle faced Peterhead United and it was Longside who took the lead with a goal from Lewis Lawson. Just on half time Longside were gifted penalty and up stepped Matthew Cowe to fire home. Into the second half and United pulled a goal back when Cluiet scored. McGarrol header came back of the bar. At the other end a Cameron shot beat the keeper but hit the pot and rolled along on the line then cleared. Peterhead drew level when Cluiet smashed home a free kick from 20 yards. It was then a penalty shootout which Longside won 4-2.

In the other Semi Final it was New Deer faced Mormond Thistle and it was NewDeer who went in front through Mark Thomson, Kevin Cameron made it 2 nil before Nick Shewan made it 3 nil. Mormond pulled a goal back before half time and another. Just after half time but New Deers Mark Thomson hot his hatrick when he scored a fourth goal. Back came Mormond and made it 4-2 then 4 – 3. Mormond scorers were Robbie Wilkinson, Dale Allan and Ryan Grieg.

Soccerworld Cup Q/Final- saw Bellslea faced Panasonic and it ended with Bellslea going through to the Semi Final by scoring 3 goals without reply. The Bellslea scorers were Josh McCrae, Matthew Rutter and Moir with a 30 yard strike.

Deejays Nightclub League-Balmoor faced Clinton Thistle in a vital league match and it ended in a 1 all draw after both sides netted once. Scorer for the home side was Mark Cordiner and for Clinton was Peter Humphreys.

Cuminestown Shield Semi Final was between Cuminestown and Longside Thistle and the away side went in front but the home side hit back to level the game at half time. The home side pressed and went on to score another 2 second half goals to now face Ardallie in the Final. The home scorers were David McCallum with 2 and one from William Wilson.

Saturday 13 August Deejays Nightclub league
St Combs faced Mintlaw Fc knowing 3 points was a must to keep their league 1 stats alive and it ended with the home side winning by the odd goal in five. Scorers for the home side was John Smith with a header from a corner at back post. John Cardno rounded the keeper and last defender to tap into empty net. 14 year old substitute Billy Bruce popped up with the winner looping over the keeper into the top corner from 25 yards to win the match. Replying for Mintlaw was Mark Fraser and Scott McKay.

Soccerworld Scotland league-Methlick played hosts to Peterhead United and it finished with the away side winning by 7 goals to 1. United scorers were Johnny McGarroll netting 4 times and one each from Barry Shepard, Zander Davidson and James Timmins and for the home side was Marc Lidgertwood. The home side finished the match with 10 men after James Gracey was red carded.
In another game Ardallie faced Cuminestown and it ended all square with both times netting twice. Corers for Ardallie were Ross Ingram and an own goal and replying for Town was Andrew Howe and G Hadden.

Another game saw New Deer faced Longside Thistle and the home side went in front with a Simon Gemmel penalty, Andrew Fowlie added a second before Longside pulled one back. Jamie Shewan made it 3-1 then the visitors pulled another goal back. A Jamie Shewan Pen made it 4-2 at half time. Soccerworld Cup Semi Final –Bellslea faced rivals Clinton Thistle for a place in the final and it was the home side that progressed to the final by scoring 2 goals without reply. Scorers were David Ross with a first half header and then Reece Duncan in the second half.

In the other Semi Final saw Mintlaw Fc face Elizabethan Link Up and it was the home side that go through after they won 3 nil. Goal scorers were Darren Steele, Craig Findlay and Sean Park.

Friday 19 August Deejays Nightclub League
Panasonic faced Mintlaw Fc and it ended with the away side collecting all 3 points scoring 3 times without reply. Mintlaw scorers were Shaun Jamieson, Darren Steele and San Flett.

Clinton Thistle entertained Balmoor in a vital game for the home side and it was Clinton who ended up winning by 3 goals to 1. The winning goals came from Andrew Ritchie, Lee Lawrence and Neil Holland and for the away side was Paul Rhynd

Tuesday 23 August
Deejays Nightclub League-Bellslea faced Balmoor and the home side needed to win to keeper their League Title hopes alive, both teams battled well, with both teams missing great chances in the first 20 mins, Bellslea opened the scoring when a Mackie shot from close range spun off the Balmoor keepers legs and into the net, both teams had chances before half time with both keepers making great saves. Into the second half Bellslea started to push more and forced Campbell into 3 great saves before they made it 2 nil through a great finish from Reece Duncan and great build up play, Balmoor pulled to tip it onto the bar only for it to rebound onto his back and over the line, A Bellslea penalty converted by Reece Duncan restored the home side lead a goal back when a 20 yard shot by Paul Rhynd was heading for the top corner when the home keeper McRobb dived full length to tip it onto the bar only for it to rebound off his back and over the line. A converted penalty by Reece Duncan ended the scoring.

New Pitsligo faced Invercairn United in another league game and it ended all square with both sides scoring once. Goal scorer for the home side was Ryan Robertson and for the away side was Stuart Noble.

Elizabethan Link Up faced Mintlaw Fc and the away side keep up their good form of late going on to win by 5 goals to 2. It was all square at 1 goal all then the away side scored 3 goals in 10 minutes, The home side pulled one back only for Mintlaw to score a fifth. The winning goals came from Chris Wallace with a brace and one each from Darren Steele, Craig Findlay and Stuart Park and for the home side was Owen Sutherland and an own goal.

Soccerworld Scotland League-Cuminestown played hosts to Longside Thistle and this one ended up all square with both teams netting 3 times. Scoring for the home side was Andrew Howe with a brace and one from Duncan Will and replying for the away side was Ryan Scott, Adam Foreman and Jordan Fraser.

Buchanhaven faced Ardallie in another league game and it ended in an away win after Ardallie went on to win by 3 goals to 1. Scorers for Ardallie was a hatrick from Craig Shaw and for the home side was Paul Taylor

Peterhead United faced Newdeer and |Jamie Shewan put the visitor one ahead, A Johnny McGarrol penalty evened the score before a mistake in the home defence let in Kevin Cameron to score, a 20 yard volley by Nick Shewan made it 3-1 to NewDeer, Zander Davidson came close rattling the crossbar then Johnny McGarrol scored a second and then a third to level at 3 all. Cameron was then dismissed for NewDeer. Into the second half and Jamie Shewan made it 4-3 then goal of the game was a Jamie Shewan 25 yard volley which flew past Gordon to make it 5-3, Fulton was then red carded for New Deer putting them down to 9 men but a converted pen by Simon Gemmel made it 6-3 before McGarrol got a fourth for the home side to end an entertaining game.

Methlick faced Mormond Thistle for the umpteen time this season but it was the same result with the away side winning by 5 goals to 1. The Mormond goals came from Robbie Wilkinson with a hatrick and one each from Callum Brown and Liam Allan and for the home side was Grant Finnie.

Friday 26 August Deejays Nightclub League
Panasonic played hosts to New Pitsligo in both their last league games of the season and it finished all square with both sides netting twice. Scorers for the home side was a brace from Paul Donaldson and replying for Pitsligo was Gerald McCluskey and Gibby Stephen.

Mormond Thistle league game was switched to Cuminestown but the League Champions went on to record another win scoring 6 goals without reply. Mormond scorers were Fraser Anderson with a hatrick and one each from John Murison, Liam Allan and Robbie Wilkinson.

Ardallie faced Longside Thistle at Methlick in another league game and the home side went on to win by 4 goals to 2. The winning goals came from Grant Morrison with a brace and one a piece from Craig Penny and Scott Penny.

Invercairn United faced St Combs in a local derby and a close game was expected and was proved right with the home side winning by the odd goal in five. The home scorers were Stuart Noble with a brace and one from Colin Hendry and replying for the away side was John Cardno and Daniel Simpson.

Tuesday 30 September Deejays Nightclub League
Mintlaw Fc faced Bellslea and in a high scoring match Bellslea ran out winners by 6 goals to 3. Bellslea scorers were Scot Falconer with a brace and one a piece from Davie Ross, Josh McCrae, Bob Stephen and Danny Buchan and for the home side was Darren Steele with a hatrick.

Ardallie Cup Semi Final-Buchanhaven faced Mormond Thistle and it was all square at half time but the away side scored twice in the second half to win by 3 goals to 1. The winning goals came from Fraser Anderson, Scott Sim and Robbie Wilkinson and for the home side was Nathan Taylor.

In the second Semi New Deer had to come back from 2-1 down at half time against Longside Thistle to win by 4 goals to 3. Scorers for the home side was Simon Gemmel with 2 and one each from Jamie Shewan and Kieran Thomson and for the away side was Lewis Lawson, Scott Phillips and Scot Donald, Gemmel also missed a penalty.

Victoria Coaches Cup Q/Final saw Invercairn United face Clinton and it was an easy passage for the visitors who went on to win by scoring 5 times without reply. Clinton scorers were Lee Lawrence and James Watson netting twice each and one from Kevin MacDonnell.

Saturday 3 September Soccerworld League
Mormond Thistle faced Longside Thistle in a league match and the home side keep their unbeaten league campaign in tact winning by 5 goals to 1. Mormond scorers were Ryan Cook and Scott Sim both netting twice and one from Robbie Wilkinson and Neil Wallace replied for the visitors.

Buchanhaven faced Cuminestown in another league game and the home side went on to win by scoring 4 goals without reply. Scorers were Ewen McLeman with a brace and one each from Nathan Taylor and Martin Best.

Victoria Coaches Cup Semi Final
Balmoor faced Clinton Thistle for a place in the Final and the home side went 2 ahead with goals from Josh Arthur and Marc Cordiner but the away side hit back with 4 goals to reach the Final. Clinton scorers were James Watson who netted a hatrick and one from Scott Milne.

In the other Semi Final Bellslea faced St Combs and the home side eased trough to the Final with a 7 goals to 2 win. The winning goals came from Reece Duncan who netted 4 times and one each from Scott Falconer, Bob Stephen and Matthew Rutter and for the away side was Daniel Simpson and Adam Ritchie. Bellslea had Jason Duthie red carded and Bob Stephen was knocked unconscious and has torn ligaments in his ankle and will now miss the Final and league show down.

Sunday 4 September Highland Cup Semi Finals
New Pitsligo travelled to Elgin to play Elgin Thistle and the away side went on to reach their 3rd Highland Cup Final when winning by 3 goals to 1. Pitsligo scorers were Gerry McClusky with a pen, Murry Reid and Gibby Stephen with the others.

The other Semi Final saw Mintlaw face Fochabers and the home side were unlucky to be on the losing side after playing an hour and extra time with 10 men. Scott Grant gave Mintlaw the lead before the visitors scored a pen just on half time then another pen just into the second half. Mintlaw battled back and Mark Farman levelled with a fine strike. Into extra time and with no further goals it went to a penalty shootout with Fochabers winning.

Friday 9 September Soccerworld League
Cuminestown and Longside Thistle played their las=t game of the season and in an entertaining game the sides shared 8 goals. Town scorers were Garry Massie, Andrew Howe, Duncan Will and William Wilson and replying for the away side was Alan Brown with a brace and one a piece from Scott Phillips and Craig Alexander.

Saturday 10 September Deejays Nightclub League
Mintlaw Fc faced Invercairn United in a league game and this one ended with an away win with Invercairn running out winners by 3 goals to 1. The winning goals came from Martin Anderson with a brace and one from Scott Porter and for the home side was Sean Park.

Clinton Thistle faced Bellslea in a showdown for the league title with the home side knowing only a win would retain them the title. Bellslea went in at half time in front after Reece Duncan converted a penalty. The home side scored two quick goals through Lee Lawrence and James Watson who has been in fine form after joining Clinton Thistle. Bellslea keeper Scott Fuerst had to be taken away in an ambulance with a suspected broken ankle with Craig Milne deputising in goals. The home side held firm to retain their league title for a fifth time in a row.

Saturday 17 September- Soccerworld League
Mormond Thistle faced Buchanhaven in both their final league games of the season and it ended all square leaving Mormond Thistle undefeated for the whole league season. Scoring for the home side was Dale Allan and replying for the visitors was Ewan McLeman. Mormond Thistle will be presented with their league trophy after the cup final next Friday.

Deejays Nightclub League
Balmoor had home advantage over Mintlaw in a League game and the home side end their season on a high winning by the odd goal in five. Balmoor scorers were Marc Walker, Marc Cordiner and Damien Duncan and replying for the visitors was Farman and Park.

Saturday 17 June Deejays Nightclub League
New Deer match with Invercairn United was switched due to pitch problems and Invercairn strolled through the game winning by 14 goals to 2, scorers for Invercairn was Jordan Guild and Scott Porter both netting 4 times each, a hatrick from Willie Noble and one each from William Third, Matthew Garden and Lee Wilby and for New Deer was Ryan Gordon and Lewis Neil.

Mintlaw hosted Mormond Thistle and the away side were in control when they went ahead with a curling first time shot by Charlie Scott found the top corner, against the run of play Mintlaw drew level through Dominic Alford after the home defence failed to clear then just on half time a Scott Milne shot went in off the post to give the home side the lead. All 3 points were made safe after an own goal.

Clinton Thistle faced St Combs in another league game and the home side keep the pressure on league leaders Balmoor after they won by 3 goals to 1. Clinton scorers were Daniel Smith, Scott Milne and Andrew Ritchie and replying for the away side was John Cardno.

Elizabethan Link Up faced League 2 leaders Haven and the home side went head through Mikey Cardno but Haven hit back with goals from Jed Gray and PA Bruce, Clinton Cassie levelled the match before Elvis Ferensas scored the winner all before half time. The home side ended the match with 10 men after Colin Stewart was sent off.

Tuesday 01.08.17
Mormond Cup Semi Final-This saw Balmoor face Invercairn United for a place in the final and it was Balmoor who went in front with a Jay Cairney goal and then the same player doubled their lead. Invercairn hit back with goals from Lee Wilby and Ian Bissett both netting 2 goals each putting Invercairn through to the Final.

In the second Semi Final saw new Pitsligo faced St Combs and a close game was expected and was proved right with Pitsligo winning by the odd goal in three. Pitsligo scorers were Stuart Ferris and Scott Martin and for St combs was Jordan Third.

Wednesday 2 August Ardallie Cup Group 1
Crimond faced the inform Haven and were brushed by the away side as they went on to win by scoring 6 times without reply. Haven scorers were Jamie |Masson and PA Bruce both scoring a brace and one apiece from Jake Leslie and Jed Gray.

Another group 2 game saw Cruden Bay face Methlick and it was the away side that came from 2-1 down to win by 4 goals to 3. The winning gaols came from James Gracey 2, Kevin Taylor and Russell Cannon one each and for the home side was Cameron Brown, Owen Peate and an own goal.

Cuminestown faced Buchanhaven and it was the home side that netted the win winning by 4 goals to 2. The home scorers were David Mccallum netting twice and one each from David Will and Andrew Howe and replying for the away side was Kevin Cameron getting both goals.
