Deejays Nightclub League
Panasonic opened their league campaign with a local derby game against Balmoor and this one ended in a draw with both sides netting 3 times. Scorers for the home side were Joe Dollman, Paul Donaldson and Steven Powell and for the away side was Martyn Hazzard with a brace and one from Josh Arthur.

Sun 26 March- April-Gordon Leask memorial Cup group 1
Mormond Thistle opened their Group 1 match against Ardallie and it ended with a win for the home side by 4 goals to 1. Mormond scorers were Ryan Grieg 2, Liam Allan and Robbie Wilkinson with one each and for Ardallie was Donald Pearson.

Gordon Leask Memorial Cup-Group 1
Mormond Thistle faced St Combs and it was Mormond who edged the game winning by the odd goal in 3. Scorers for Mormond were Robbie Wilkinson and Steven Panton and for St Combs was Adam Ritchie with a penalty.

Group 2
Invercairn United were no match for Elizabethan Link Up winning by scoring 8 times without reply.

Group 3
Mintlaw faced new side Haven and in a close match it was the home side that ran out winners by the odd goal in five. The winning goals came from Shaun Jamieson with 2 and the other from Dominic Alford and for the away side was Drew Marshall and Elvis Ferensas.

Group 4
Clinton Thistle faced arch rivals Bellslea and in a close match it was the away side that came away with a win with Reece Duncan scoring the only goal. Both sides finished the game with 9 men after 2 from each side were sent off.

In the other Group 4 game say Peterhead United off to a flier after beating Cuminestown by 5 goals to 1. The home scorers were Andrew Norris with a brace and one each from Paul Cluiet, Johnny McGarroll and Callun Gasson.

Deejays Nightclub League
Panasonic hosted New Pitsligo and the home side went onto win by 5 goals to 1. The home scorers were Paul Donaldson and Jamie McNeil both netting twice and one from Joe Dollman and replying for the visitors was Neil Christie.

Soccerworld League
Glenugie United back in the league and they got off to a winning start winning by scoring 3 goals without reply. Scorers were George Mead with a brace and one from William Buchan.

Tuesday 4 April-Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Group 1
New Deer faced Ardallie and it was the home side that won by the odd goal in five. The winning goals came from Andrew Fowlie, George Heatherwick Jnr and David Ignaczak and replying for the away side was Matthew Taylor and Callum Slessor.

Sat 8 April Scottish Cup Q/Final
Mormond Thistle travelled to Greenock to face Whinhll United for a place in the Semi Final up for grabs. It ended all square at 2 goals apiece. The tie went into extra time in which Mormond scored the winner. They now face Invercairn United in the Semi Final. This is the first time there has been 4 teams from the same league in the Scottish cup Semis. Mormond scorers were Robbie Wilkinson with a brace and one from Liam Allan.

S/Final-Bellslea took the lead after 5 minutes when a through ball from Craig Milne found Reece Duncan who swerved the ball round the out rushing Simpson into the bottom corner. Bellslea then went 2 up from a McRae header at the front post from a corner. Bellslea almost made it 3 had it not been for a brilliant save from Simpson in the Panasonic goal. With 5 minutes reaming of the half Pana pulled a goal back when a through ball to McNeil who slotted past Bellslea keeper. Bellslea made it 3– 1 after 50 mins when some excellent play resulted In Allan scoring with a neat finish. Pana were then awarded a penalty on 60 mins which resulted in Tait being sent off. McNeil converted the pen. Bellslea defended well for the next 20 mins with 10 men. With only 10 mins remaining a great pass. from Milne to Duncan then glided past his opponent to then smash an unstoppable shot into top corner from 25 yards. Sinclair from Bellslea had a brilliant goal line clearance with 5 mins remaining. Bellslea now face the winner of the Mormond Thistle and Invercairn United in the Final.

Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Group 1
New Pitsligo faced Ardallie in a group game and it ended all square with both sides netting twice. Scorers for Pitsligo was Jack Donaldson and James Dilion and for Ardallie was Callum Slessor and Jack Craig.

In another group 1 match St Combs hit the goal trail against New Deer after they scored seven times without reply. St Combs scorers were Ryan Rozanski who netted 4 times and one each from Adam Ritchie, David Buchan and Liam Ritchie.

Soccerworld League-Buchanhaven faced arch rivals Peterhead United in a league match and the away side went on to win by scoring five goals without reply. United scorers were Callum Gasson with a brace and one each from Johnny McGarrol, Paul Clueit and Alex McGlone.

In another league game newcomers Cruden Bay travelled to face Elizabethan Link Up. The hoe side scored two quick goals, first was Michael Cardno who was played through with 1 on 1 with keeper and stuck it away. Ross Brown made it 2 when he scored direct from a corner. Third was from Keith Nicol who followed up from a rebound and fired it in. Arron McDonald converted a pen in the second half to make it 4 before Lee noble netted fifth.

Tuesday 12 April-Gordon leask Memorial Cup
Group 1
Ardallie had home advantage over St Combs and it was the visitors who took all the points winning by the odd goal in five. The winning goals came from Sam Ogston, Allan Taylor and John Cardno and replying for the home side was Mathew Taylor and Frazer Anderson.

In another Group 1 game say New Pitsligo face neighbours Mormond Thistle and it was the away side that went on to win their third group game in a row with Ryan Grieg scoring the only goal of the game.

Group 2
Elizabethan Link Up faced Peterhead side Panasonic and the away side went on to win comfortably by 4 goals to 1. Panasonic scorers were Jamie McNeill who, netted a brace and one each from Janie Clark and Alejandram Letelier and for the home side was Calum Angus.

Group 3
Methlick hosted Mintlaw and the away side continue their fine start to the season by winning by scoring four goals without reply. The Mintlaw scorers were Darren Steel with 2 goals and one each from Shaun Jamieson and Bruce Munro.
Group 4

Cuminestown faced League one side Clinton Thistle and this one was settled by a single goal for the visiting side which was scored by Bob Stephen.

Friday 14 April-Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Group 3
Two new teams Crimond and Haven met in a Group 3 match and it was the away side that came away with a fine win by 4 goals to 1. The winning goals came from Adam Cross who netted brace and one each from David Gourley and Jamie Masson and for the home side was Owen Sutherland.

Group 4
Peterhead United faced Clinton Thistle and the home side was 3 goals to 1 ahead before the away side hit back scoring 3 goals to won by the odd goal in seven. Clinton scorers were Bob Stephen, Chris Stewart and A Ritchie with two. And replying for the home side was Paul Clueit, Andrew Youngson and Gareth Evans.

Cuminestown faced Bellslea in a Group 4 game and it was the away side that stay top of their group with a second win by 2 goals to 1. Bellslea scorers were Calum Sinclair and Reece Duncan and replying for the home side was Ord.

Soccerworld league-Methlick and Ardallie met in their first league game of the season and the away side won comfortably by 6 goals to 2. The winning goals came from Donald Pearson who netted four times and one a piece from Matthew Taylor and Harrison and for the home side was Steven Donaldson and Kevin Taylor.

Sat 15 April Gordon Leask Memorial Cup
Group 1
New Pitsligo faced St Combs in a group one game and it ended in a draw after both sides netting once. St Combs went in front with a diving header then Pitsligo scored a late penalty which was converted by Gerrald Mccluskey.

Group 2
Elizabethan Link Up faced Balmoor in another group game and it ended in a comfortable win for the visitors after they scored 4 times without reply. Balmoor scorers were Marc Walker and Kris Keith both netting a brace each.

Deejays Nightclub League-Mintlaw continue thei fine start to the season after they went on to beat Panasonic by scoring 4 times without reply. The goals came from Shaun Jamieson with a brace and one each from Darren Steele and Craig Findlay.

Soccerworld League-Cruden Bay welcomed Glenugie United in a league game and the away side netted all 3 points after a fine win by 5 goals to 1. Glenugie scorers were Scott Walker who netted twice and one a piece from Aidan Buchan, Matthew Baxter and Jamie McNeil.

Scottish Cup Semi Final-In the second Semi Final saw another two sides from the Nesfa league Invercairn United faced Mormond Thistle and it was the Belgers that go on to meet Bellslea in the Final after scoring two goals without reply. The first was an own goal and the other came from Michael Lumsden.

Monday 17.04.17 Group 3
Methlick get their first points in their group match when they went on to win by the odd goal in three against Crimond. The winning goals both came from striker Kevin Taylor and for the away side Crimond was Arron Gray.

Soccerworld League
Peterhead United make it two wins out of 2 in the league after a fine win by 7 goals to 1 against Ardallie. The home scorers were Johnny McGarrol and James Timmins both netting a hatrick each and one from Andrew Youngson and Donald Pearson for Ardallie.

Tuesday 18.04.17
Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Group 1
New Pitsligo faced NewDeer and after two draws the home side get their first win in Group one winning by the odd goal in three. Scorers for Pitsligo were David Innes and Stuart Ferris and replying for the home side was George Heatherwick jnr.

Group 2
Panasonic faced the inform Invercairn United and it was the away side who took all three points winning by 4 goals to 2. John Smith netted a hatrick and Lewis Tait with the other and for Panasonic was Kyle Ritchie and Kevin Norris. The home side ended the match with 10 men after Jamie Clark was red carded.

Balmoor met local side Buchanhaven and with the home side leading by 3 goals to 1 the match was abandoned with the match official picking up an injury.

The winning goals both came from striker Kevin Taylor and for the away side Crimond was Arron Gray.

In another group 3 Glenugie United faced Mintlaw and with both sides having a fine start to the season, it was expected to be a close affair. The home side edged the match wining by 3 goals to 1. Glenugie scorers were Scott Walker, Matthew Baxter and Kiran Taylor and for Mintlaw was Craig Findlay.

Friday 21 April Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Group 3
Haven hit the goal trail when they completed their last group 3 match against Methlick after they went on to win by scoring 8 goals without reply. The Haven scorers were Adam Cross with a hatrick a brace from Chris Cameron and one a piece from Luke Stephen, Elvis Ferensas and an own goal.

Deejays Nightclub league
Mormond Thistle faced Panasonic in a league one match and it ended all square with both sides netting once. Scorer for the visitors was Gavin Brown and for the home side a late goal from Don Allan. Panasonic also missed a penalty.

Newly promoted New Deer faced Balmoor in a league match and the away side went on to win comfortably by 5 goals to 1, Balmoor scorers were Marc Cordiner, Mark Walker, Nick McLeod, Josh Arthur and Michael Waddell and for the visitors was Tomas.

Invercairn United faced St Combs in a derby league encounter and this one was decided by a single goal from a penalty converted by the homes sides Arron Garden.

Saturday 22 April Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Group 3
In another group 3 game saw Crimond face the inform Glenugie who have started the season with a bang but it was the home side that went on to win by the odd goal in three. The winning goals came from Owen Sutherland with a brace and replying for Glenuie was Jamie McNeill.

Reigning champions Clinton Thistle faced a tough first league game of the season away to New Pitsligo and they are usually tight affairs. This was proved correct as the home side went on to win by the odd goal in three. The winning goals came from James Dillion and Dylan Fordyce and replying for Clinton was Andrew Ritchie.

Mintlaw faced last Bellslea in another league game and it was the away side that continue with their fine start to the season and went on to win by three goals to one. Bellslea scorers were Matthew Rutter, Scott Falconer and Reece Duncan and for the home side was James Pryor.

Cruden Bay had a home game against Cuminestown in a League match and in a high scoring game the visitors went on to collect all 3 points winning by five goals to 2. The winning goals came from Duncan Will who netted a hatrick and one each from Daniel Bruce and Arthur Ord replying for the home side was Stephen Donovan and Cameron Brown.

Tues 25.04.17-Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Group 2
Buchanhaven faced league 1 side Panasonic in a Group 2 match and in a very cold and windy evening it was the away side that went on to win by scoring three goals without reply. Panasonic scorers were Alejndro Letelier, Sean Beddie and Joe Dolman.

Terry Sutton Memorial Cup 2nd rd
Crimond faced Methlick in a all-league 2 tie and it was a fine win for the home side progressing to the 3rd Rd after winning by 4 goals to 1. The winning goals came from James Brookes with a brace and one each from Owen Sutherland and Ross Hornal.

Friday 28.04.17-Deejays Nightclub League
Balmoor faced Mormond Thistle in a league match and it was a fine win for Peterhead side Balmoor scoring 5 times without reply. Scorers for the home side Martyn Hazzard and Damie Duncan who both netted twice and one from Marc Walker.

In another league match Panasonic faced new league one side New Deer and the home side ran out comfortable winners winning by 6 goals to 1. Panasonic scorers were Paul Donaldson with a hatrick and one a piece from Allan Donaldson, Sean Beddie and Gavin Brown and for the away side was Ethan Cowie. The visitors ended the match with 10men after their goalkeeper was sent off.

Soccerworld League-Peterhead United kept up their fine form of late with an impressive 7 goals to 1 win against Methlick. Top scorer for United last season Johnny McGarrol netted a hatrick, there was a brace from Calum Gasson and one from James Timmins.

In another League two match saw Glenugie United face Cuminestown and it was the away side that collected all 3 points winning by 4 goals to 1. The winning Town goals came from Arthur Ord who netted a hatrick and the other came from Duncan Will and replying for the home side was Scott Walker.

Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Group 2 saw Invercairn United face league side Buchanhaven and in a very high scoring game it was the home side that top group 2 with a fine win by 6 goals to 3. The home side scorers were Bissett with 2 and one each from Gibb, garden, Wilby and Watson and for the away side was Munro, Cameron and Simpson.

Saturday 29 April Deejays Nightclub League
In another game it was New Pitsligo who faced Bellslea and in a tight game it was the away side that collected all three points winning by 3 goals to 1. The winning goals were scored by Scott Falconer, Reece Duncan and Jason Morrison and Scorer for Pitsligo was Callum Davidson.

Clinton Thistle had home advantage over Mintlaw in the last league game of the day and the home side get back to winning ways when they went onto win by 3 goals to 1. Clinton scorers were Darren Batty, Martin Atkenhead and Ryan Noble and for the visitors was James Pryor.

Tuesday 2 May Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Group 1
New Deer hosted Mormond Thistle in the last game of group 1 and it was the visitors who netted 5 times without reply to finish top of group 1. Scorers for Mormond were Ryan Grieg who netted a hatrick and one each from Jamie Shewan and Dean Allan.

Group 2
Balmoor faced Buchanhaven knowing they need to win by more than 3 goals to qualify from the group and they went on to win by scoring 6 goals without reply. The scorers for Balmoor were Marc Walker and Michael Waddell both netting twice and one each from Kris Keith and Owen Tocher.

Group 4
Bellslea faced Peterhead United and United went in front on 10 mins before Gall levelled for Bellslea, Evans in the United goal pulled off 3 fine saves, Duncan scored for Bellslea then United levelled. Duncan scored 2 quick goals before United scored a third. Last goal came the way of Bellslea with an own goal. Scorers for United were James Timmins 2 and one from Mark Baker.

Terry Sutton Memorial Cup 1st rd
New Pitsligo faced Invercairn United and in a tight match it was the away side that go through winning by the odd goal in five. The winning goals came from Willie Noble with a brace and one from James Gibb and replying for the home side was David Innes and Neil Christie.

2nd rd
Haven met Mintlaw for the second time this season and it ended the same way with a win for the away side scoring twice without reply. The scorers were Shaun Jamieson and Mark Farman.

In another league 2 game saw Methlick face Elizabethan Link Up, Ross Brown gave the visitors the lead then Arron McDonald made it 2 nil before half time, Shane Wall fired in 2 more to make it 4 nil before Methlick earned a pen which Donaldson scored to end the match.

Glenugie United faced Ardallie and the home side went on to win comfortably by 6 goals to 2. The home goals came from Scott Walker, Liam McGuile and Jamie McNeil all netting a brace each.

Friday 5 May Deejays Nightclub League
Balmoor had arch rivals Panasonic in a League one game and it was a comfortable win for the home side as they went on to score 7 goals without reply. The goals were scored by Mark Walker and Martyn Hazzard both netting twice each and one a piece from Owen Tocher Mark Duncan and Nick McLeod.

In another league one game saw New Pitsligo entertain Mintlaw and it ended with the home side collecting all three points scoring three times without reply. The winning goals came from Dylan Fordyce netting a brace and the other came from Terry Hanrattay

Buchanhaven played Methlick and this one ended all square with both sides netting three times. Buchanhaven scorers were Mark Munro, Kevin Warrander and Simon Gemmel and replying for the home side was Kevin Taylor with a brace and one from Scott Sinclair.

In another league 2 encounter Ardallie played hosts to Cuminestown and a very tight game it was the away side that collected all three points winning by the odd goal in five. The winning goals ca me from Garry Massie and Kieran Taylor and for Ardallie was Cameron Bruce.

Saturday 6 May Deejays Nightclub League
Bellslea faced Invercairn United in a league game and it was the away team that proved too strong for the home side winning by 5 goals to 2. Away striker James Gibb netted 4 times and the other from Aaron Garden and for the home side was a brace from Reece Duncan.

Clinton Thistle entertained Mormond Thistle and this one ended all square after each team scored once each. Scoring for the home side was Peter Humphreys and replying for the away side was Ryan Grieg,

St Combs had home advantage over New Deer and it was a home win with St Combs going on to win by 3 goals to 1. The winning goals came fromGavin Bruce, Nathanial Arkwell and Steve Tait and replying for the visitors was Tomas Butor.

Crimond played hosts to Cruden Bay and in a very close game the home side went on to win by the odd goal in three. The home scorers were James Brookes and Kieran Moir and replying for the away side was Steven Donovan.

Last league game of the day saw Glenugie United faced Elizabethan Link up and the home side took a two goal lead trough goals by Callum Fraser and Craig Alexander and with the away side pushing forward the home side scored a third by Cameron Hutton.

Tuesday 9 May-Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Quarter Final
Invercairn United met with local rivals St Combs for a place in the Semi Final up for grabs and it was the home side that go through after winning by 4 goals to 1. Invercairn scorers were Ian Bissett, Blair Watson, Jordan Guild and Scott Cowe and for the away side was Gavin Bruce.

Second semi was between Mormond Thistle and a tight affair was expected and was proved right after the home side progress to the Semi Final winning by the odd goal in five. Mormond goals came from Martyn Robertson, Ryan Grieg and Nick Shewan and replying for the away side was Marc Walker and Ryan Urquhart.

The third game was between Mintlaw FC and Clinton Thistle and this one ended in an excellent win for the home side when they went on to the Semi Finals winning by 3 goals to 1. Mintlaw scorers were Shaun Jamieson, Darren Steele and Dominic Alford.

Bellslea played Haven in the last tie and the home side scored after 2 mins with a Gall header from a Duncan corner. Haven equalised after 5mins when a mistake from the home keeper let in Bruce to score. Haven went in front just after the break with a good finish from Bruce. Bellslea pressed for the equaliser and levelled on 65 mins with a header by Ross Cardno. With the match looking like going into extra time Rutter for the home side netted the winner.

Glenugie United faced league leaders Peterhead United and it was the away side that make it 4 wins in a row in the league running out winners by 5 goals to 1. United scorers were Johnny McGarroll with a hatrick and one each from Paul Cluiet and Andrew Norris and for the home side was Aidan Bruce.

Methlick played hosts to Cruden Bay in another league game and it ended with the home side collecting all 3 points winning by 3 goals to 1. Methlick goal scorers were Scott Sinclair, Kevin Taylor and Lewis Andrews and replying for the visitors was Steven Donovan.

Pitsligo scorers were Andrew Ferguson with a double and one each from Tony Hanrattay and Calum Davidson and for New Deer was Dawid Ignaczak, Lewis Neil and Cameron Scott.

In another league game Panasonic faced Clinton Thistle and it was a comfortable win for the visitors by 6 goals to 1. Clinton scorers were Simon Whyte netting a hatrick, Daniel Smith a brace and one from Andrew Ritchie and for the home side was Jamie McNeil.

Balmoor entertained Bellslea in another league match and this was expected to be a close affair and it ended with the home side making it 4 straight wins in the league scoring 3 times without reply. The Balmoor scorers were Mark Cordiner, James Campbell and Damie Duncan.

Friday 19 May Deejays Nightclub League Panasonic faced St Combs in a league game and it was 3 points to the visitors after they ran out winners by 5 goals to 2. The winning goals came from Gavin Bruce with a brace and one each from Nathanial Arkwell, Daniel Simpson and first goal for St Combs was Matthew Byiers and for the home side was Allan Donaldson and Gavin Brown.

Soccerworld League Methlick faced Haven and this one was a comfortable win for the away side as they climb the league table after they won by 9 goals to 2. The Haven scorers were David Gourley with a hatrick, PA Bruce a brace and one each from Adam Cross, Jed Gray, Paul Duncan and Luke Stephen and for Methlick was James Gracey and an own goal.

Elizabethan Link Up faced Crimond in a league game and the visitors took a 3 goal lead then the home side scored through Stephen Crawford before the away side scored a fourth to end the scoring. The winning goals came from Owen Sutherland who netted a hatrick and one from Ronald McQueen.

Monday 22 May Soccerworld League Soccerworld League
Methlick played hosts to Crimond and the home side sping a surprise win going by latest form after the won by 4 goals to 2. The home scorers were Willie Robbie,Chris Watt, Scott Sinclair and Grant Finnie and fopr Crimond was Owen Sutherland and Jordan Shand.

Ardallie faced Elizabethan Link Up and it was goals galoare after both sides netted 5 times to earn a point each. Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Semi Final-This was a repeat of the Scottish Cup Final with Invercairn United facing Bellslea and the visitors led 4-2 at the interval but the home side stormed the second half scoring 4 times to reach the Final. Wednesday 24 May Gordon Leask Memorial Cup Semi Final
Mormond Thistle faced Mintlaw in the other Semi and the home side went in front when they were awarded penalty which Anderson converted. Sean Jamieson made it one all then a Lawson screamer from 25 yards put Mintlaw in front. Scott levelled the game but a Munro deflected shot put Mintlaw back in front and then Mintlaw won a penalty which Steele converted to put Mintlaw in the final.

This saw New Pitsligo face Elizabethan Link Up and after a goalless first half Cardno gave the visitors the lead. Pitsligo then levelled the game before Cardno scored once more to restore the away side lead. The home side scored two late goals to book a place in the second round. Pitsligo goals came from Davidson, Innes and Christie.

Soccerworld Cup 1st Rd
Haven played Glenugie United for a place in the Quarter Final and it ended with another comfortable win for the Haven scoring 4 goals without reply. Scorers were Jamie Masson, Elvis Ferensas, Andy Whyte and Liam Hay.

This saw Methlick face League Leaders Peterhead United and the away side were far too strong for Methlick after they hit the home side for 8 without reply Scorers were Norris with a brace and one a piece from Cluiet, McGlone, Beagrie, McGarroll, Baker and Gasson

Saturday 27 May Deejays Nightclub League
Mintlaw faced Clinton Thistle in a league game and it ended with the away side picking up all 3 points winning by 3 goals to 1. The winning goals came from Scott Milne, Peter Humphreys and Daniel Smith and for the home side was Craig Findlay.

Sunday 28 May Highland Cup 1st rd
Mormond Thistle faced a high flying Buckie team and the home side had only 11 player’s available but the home side took the lead with a goal from Robbie Wilkinson. The away side hit back with 2 goals to take the lead but Mormond drew level through Nick Shewan. No more goals came in extra time and it was down to pens. Home keeper Dean Allan saved the 2nd pen and all 5 home pens were converted to see them into the 2nd rd.

In another tie Cuminestown also took on a Moray side Ugie Youths and this one was all square after each side scored three times each. No more goals in extra time and another penalty shootout went the way of the homes side 3-2. Town scorers were Howe with a brace and one from Ord saw r=them through.

Panasonic faced local side Balmoor who currently sit top of the league and they fired in another 6 goals and went on to win by 6 goals to 2. Balmoor scorers were Mark Walker who netted 4 times and one a piece from Jay Cairney and Jack Taylor and for Panasonic was Allan Donaldson and Steven Powell.

Quarter Final-This saw Cruden Bay play hosts to Elizabethan Link Up for a place n the Semi Final against The Haven and it ended with the home side winning by the odd goal in five. The winning goals were scored by Jordan Catanach who netted a brace and the other one came from Brandon Johnston and replying for the away side was Clint Cassie and a pen from Arron McDonald.

Another 2nd rd tie saw Clinton Thistle faced rivals Bellslea and the visitors took the lead after a mix up in the home defence left Reece Duncan an easy finish. A solo goal from Jamie Buchan doubled the visitors the lead. Minutes Simon Whyte reduced the lead to one with a drive from the edge of the box. Clinton were reduced to10 men but in the last minute Andrew Ritchie scored from a corner to take it to extra time. No more goals and it went to a penalty shootout where Bellslea young keeper James Whyte was the hero saving two pens. Whyte also saved a pen from Milne in the 90 mins.

Tuesday 6 June Deejays nightclub League
Game of the day saw league leaders Balmoor faced 2nd place Clinton Thistle and this was expected to be a close affair and it was proved right after the away side won by the odd goal in three. Clinton scorers were Darren Batty and Jordan Gauld and for the home side was Marc Walker.

t Combs faced Mintlaw in another league game and it was a one sided game as Mintlaw went on to to score 8 times without reply. The scorers for Mintlaw were Darren Steele with a hatrick and one each from Shaun Jamieson, Darren Lawson, Sean Flett, Martin Smith and Scott Milne.

Zander David son scored for the home side then Christopher Grieve scored the winner for the away side with a fine finish from the edge of the box.

Thursday 8 June Deejays Nightclub League
Bellslea faced New Deer and Callum Partridge gave the visitors the lead, Bellslea equalised through a Gall header then the home side went in front when a Stephen cross was headed in by Smith. The home side scored another 7 times in the second half with Gall scoring another 3, Mackie scored with a great finish from 20 yards, Stephen netted with a cracking curling25 yards shot into the top corner, McRae scored a well-deserved goal before Cowe made it 9 with the goal of the game with a 30 yard shot.

Deejays Nightclub League-Invercairn United the form team of late played hosts to the much improved and newly promoted Mormond Thistle in a league game and the away side went two goals in front with goals from Leslie Fulton and Jake Rennie but the home side pulled a goal back through Willie Noble but couldn’t find another.

Soccerworld League-2nd placed Crimond faced 3rd place Peterhead United in a league game and in an entertaining match the home side came out on top with a deserved win by the odd goal in five. The home side scorers were Owen Duthie, James Brookes and Micael Marques and replying for the away side were Andrew Hepburn and James Timmins.

Cuminestown faced Glenugie United in another league 2 match and the home side raced to a two goal lead at half time, the home side added a third but Glenugie netted a couple for the match to end 3-2 for Town. The home scorers were Daniel Bruce, Andrew Howe and Duncan Will and for the away side was Scott Walker and Gavin Robertson.

Ardallie game with Cruden Bay had to be switched to Cruden Bay due to Ardallie pitch being waterlogged and a close match was expected and it ended with all 3 points going to Ardallie after they won by 2 goals to 1. Ardallie scorers were Andrew Adam and Calum Slessor and for Bay was Dylan Hubbicks.

Methlick faced Peterhead side Buchanhaven in the last league game of the net and it was another win for the visitors winning by 4 goals to 2. The winning goals were scored by Simon Gemmell with a brace and one each from Kevin Warrander and Matthew Coates and for the home side was Kevin Taylor and Scott Sinclair.

Brucklay Cup 1st rd saw Panasonic face New Pitsligo and this one ended all square after both sides netted 3 times. This was to be a very long penalty shootout after 24 pens the home side emerged victors by 6 pens to 5. Alan Donaldson, Steven Powell and Jamie Clark scored for Panasonic and Neil Christie, Cammy Fenty and Dylan Fordyce for Pitsligo.

Terry Sutton Cup Memorial Cup Q/Final-Bellslea faced St Coms and the home side ran out winners scoring 5 times without reply. St Combs cause wasn’t helped after they lost their keeper after 35 minutes after a clash. Scorers for Bellslea were Gall, Barclay with a header, Smith, McRae and Mackie lobbed the keeper from 35 yards to end the scoring.

Sunday 18 June Highland Cup 2nd rd-Bellslea face3d a trip to Moray to face Rothes and it was Bellslea who opened the scoring when Morrison followed up a save from a Milne Bullet free kick, Rothes drew level just after half time from a corner. On 75 minutes Bellslea were awarded a penalty which Milne dispatched well, Rothes were pushing for an equaliser when Cowe spotted the keeper of his line and lobbed him from 40 yards.

Tuesday 20 June
Soccerworld League Crimond travelled to face Glenugie United in a league game knowing they had to win to maintain their promotion hopes and in a tight match Crimond came away with all 3 points winning by a solitary goal which was scored by Micael Marques.

Methlick were hosting Peterhead and the away side were stuttering a little after their good start to the season but the visitors gathered all the points winning by scoring 4 goals without reply. James Timmins netted a hattrick and the other one came from Zander Davidson.

Buchanhaven faced Elizabethan Link up and the away side went in at half time in front after Michael Cardno opened the scoring. Into the second half and the away side then doubled their lead with a goal from Shaun Reid and that ended the scoring and a fine win for Elizabethan Link Up.

Ardallie faced League Leaders Haven and the home side were no match for the new boys with the Haven running out winners by 7 goals to one. The haven goals came from Jamie Masson who netted a hattrick and one each from Elvis Ferensas, David Gourley, Luke Stephen and Paul Duncan and for the home side was Donald Pearson.

Cuminestown faced Cruden bay and the away side have improved their form from the start of the season. The home side scored twice in the first half with both goals coming from Arthur Ord but the visitors levelled at half time with strikes from Eddie McKenna and Stephen Donovan. The second half was close but Cruden bay notched all 3 points with Edddie Mckenna netting his second goal of the game.

Brucklay Cup Quarter Final
Clinton Thistle faced new Deer and the away side are finding it hard to replace all the players that departed and to find any sort of form after being promoted this year. The home side went on to score 9 times without reply. Daniel Kewly scored 4 times, Darren Batty with a brace and one a piece from Matthew Cowe, Sean Maloane and Jordan Guald.

Another Quarter Final saw Mintlaw face Invercairn United and the away side go comfortably through to the next round scoring four times without reply. Invercairn scorers were Jordan Guild with a brace and one each from Martin Anderson and Arron garden.

This saw Mormond Thistle face Panasonic for a place in the Quarter Finals up for grabs against Peterhead United. It was stalemate at the end of 90 minutes with no goals. Into extra time and Mormond came out on top with Martyn Robertson scoring the winner.

St Combs travelled the short distance to face Bellslea for the second time in the season and it was the home side that collected all 3 points with a narrow win by the odd goal in three. The home scorers were Duncan and Ingils and replying for the visitor’s was Milne.

Saturday 24 June Highland Cup 2nd rd
New Pitsligo faced neighbours and it was the home side that progress to the 3rd round by scoring 4 times without reply. The winning goals came from Dylan Fordyce who netted a hatrick and one from Calum Davidson.

Haven travelled to face Hopeman in a tricky tie and it was 2 -2 at the end of the match and it went to a penalty shootout which the Buchan side finally won by 7 penalties to 6, Haven scorers were James McDonald and Andy White.

Panasonic had Moray side McDuff as visitors and it was a comfortable win for Panasonic scoring 5 times without reply. The home scorers were Alan Donaldson, Greg Hastie, Alejandro Letelier and 2 own goals.

Cruden Bay also had Moray opponents in Elgin Athletic and the home side progress to the next round after winning by 4 goals to 1. Bay scorers were Cameron Brown, Ryan Reid, Brian Stevenson and Eddie McKenna.

Balmoor faced Buchan side Methlick and the tie was all square after 90 minutes at 3-3 but the away side went on to win by 5 goals to 4 after extra time, the winning goals came from Kevin Taylor with a hatrick and one each from Grant Bowie and Stuart Anderson and replying for the home side was Mikey Rhynd, Marc Walker, Mark Cordiner and Ross Mair.

Mintlaw faced local side Mormond Thistle and the away side took control of the game going in 3 goals ahead at half time. Mintlaw pulled 2 back before Mormond extend their two goal lead again but the home side hit back scoring twice to take the tie into extra time where Mintlaw managed a further 2 goals to go through. Scoring for Mintlaw was Sean Park with a superb hatrick, one from Bruce Munro, Dareen Steele and a Mikey Weir free kick which was palmed into his own net by Allan, replying for Mormond was Cook with 4 goals.

Peterhead United made the trip to face Moray side FC Elgin and at the end of 90 minutes it was all square with both sides netting twice, Andrew Youngson scored both Peterhead goals and aet it was into a penalty shootout which the visitors won 3-0, scoring the winning pens was Philip Turriff, Ian Fyfe and Alex McGlone, Barry Shepard missed his one.

Crimond had home advantage over Moray side Cullen and a close game was expected and it finished with the home winning making it all North East teams going into the third round after they won by the odd goal in three. The winning goals came from Gasper Pontes and Cameron Hutton.

Brucklay Cup 1st Rd-St Combs who were struggling to field a team and had no keeper faced Mormond Thistle and this was always going to be a hard game for the home side and Mormond go through to the next round scoring 5 times without reply. Scorers were Ryan Cook with 5 and one from Robbie Wilkinson.

Friday 30 June Deejays Nightclub League
Mintlaw faced League Leaders Balmoor and the visitors started strongly and were awarded a penalty which Mark Walker converted. The home side hit back with a goal from Sean Park to level the game. From a Duncan corner Walker header found the net then before half time Martyn Hazzard scored a third with a bullet of a shot from 25 yards finding the top corner. In the second half Balmoor controlled the game and a near post header from Walker netted number 4 then a good move and set up play by the visitors ended with Hazzard’s curling shot from outside the box into the top corner again.

Cuminestown faced Ardallie and in an entertaining game it was the home side that prevailed to the Semis by the odd goal in seven. The winning goals came from Duncan Will with a hatrick and one from David McCallum and for the away side was Ryan Taylor, Donald Pearson and Mark Parley. Town now faced Peterhead United.

Panasonic faced Mormond Thistle in another league game and the away side went on to win all three points winning by 3 goals to 1. Mormond scorers were Ryan Cook with a brace and one from Charlie Scott and replying for the home side was Alex Kelly.

St Combs faced neighbours Invercairn United. A beleaguered St Combs battled well against Invercairn with only 9 signed players and 4 trialists including Billy Bruce (15 years old and manager Andrew Duthie 40 plus). St Combs were unlucky and on another day could have snatched draw. At 2 nil down Matthew Byiers turned the Invercairn defence and hammered past the keeper to make it 2-1 with 20 mins remaining. St Combs pushed hard leaving gaps at the back but it ended an away win. Invercairn scorers were Jon James Sim and Jordan Guild.

Game of the day saw Bellslea hosted rivals Clinton Thistle and it was the reigning league holders Clinton who won by 3 goals to 1. The winning goals came from Andrew Ritchie, Simon Whyte and Fraser Gibb and replying for the home side was Darren Anderson. This was the surprise scorer of the night with lowly placed Methlick making the trip to face the high flying Crimond and it was decided by the only goal of the game being scored by James Gracey for Methlick.

It stayed that way until midway through the second half when Matthew Rutter scrambled home to level the game. It was Bellslea who grabbed the winner when McLeman controlled the ball with his back to the goal c and swivelled and his strike found the bottom corner.

In a high scoring game between Invercairn United and Panasonic saw the home side edge through with a 5 goals to 3 win. Mormond Thistle faced Balmoor in a league match and the away side went in front with a stunning goal from Martyn Hazzard when he ran from the halfway line weaving past 3 players before finding the bottom corner from the edge of the box. In the second half Balmoor doubled their lead with Mark Walker lashing home from a tight angle to seal all 3 points.

Glenugie United face Ardallie and the home side were up against it from the start as they could only field 10 players due to holidays and other circumstances and it was they away side that went on to win by the odd goal in five. Ardallie scorers were Frazer McDonald with a brace and an own goal and for the home side was Euan Culley with both.

Saturday 22 July Deejays Nightclub League
New Pitsligo were host to Panasonic and a close game was expected and it was the away side that collected all 3 points scoring twice without reply. Goal scorers for Panasonic were Allan Donaldson and Nick McLeod.

Lowly placed St Combs were facing league leaders Clinton Thistle and after a goalless first half the home side took the lead on 50 minutes with a well taken free kick by Neil Taylor. St Combs doubled their lead on 61 minutes with a goal from Steve Tait. Clinton did manage to pull a goal back in injury time through Jamie Martin but it ended with a fine win for St Combs. A mention of the two young full backs for the home side Alexander Third and Jordan Taylor who battled well throughout the match.

In another league match Bellslea faced Mintlaw and the home side started without a regular goalkeeper and it ended in a 1 all draw. Scorer for Bellslea was Guild and for Mintlaw was Steele. Bellslea had to play 40 minutes with 10 men after Darren Ross was red carded.

Clinton Thistle and the visitors went in front with a well taken goal by Simon Whyte but Belgers hit back through Aaron garden. Into extra time and it was still all square going into the second half of extra time and Jordan Guild put the home side ahead and with Clinton pushing forward they were caught late on with another 2 goals from Aaron Garden. Invercairn now face Balmoor in the Semi Final.

Friday 28 July Deejays League
Mormond Thistle faced Invercairn United in a league game and it ended in a fine win for the away side as they went on to record a 4 goals to 2 win. Striker James Gibb scored all 4 gaols for the away side and replying for the home side was Ryan Grieg and Liam Allan.

Highland Cup 3rd rd-Haven faced another team from the North East league Methlick and the home side were far too strong running out winners by scoring 9 tomes without reply. Haven scorers were PA Bruce who netted 6 times and one each from Luke Stephen, Jed Gray and Matthew Bruce.

Peterhead United travelled to face League 1 side Mintlaw and the visitors took the lead early with a cross come shot which found the top corner from James Timmins. The visitors struck the bar with a shot from Shepard. A good move by United ended with McGarrol netting the away side’s second goal. United keeper Gordon had 2 one on one saves to prevent the home side scoring. Minutes into the second half and Gordon caught Park inside the box which he was cautioned and the home side were awarded a penalty which Darren Steel converted. Mintlaw drew level when Dominic Alford was played through and he calmly lifted the ball over the keeper from 18 yards. The match went to extra time and with time running out the away side went on the attack and a shot came crashing back off the bar and McGarrol was on hand to header the winner.

His saw St Combs play hosts to Panasonic and it was the away side going through to the next round winning by the odd goal in 5. Panasonic scorers were Nick McLeod, Sean Beedie and Allan Donaldson and for the home side was Matthew Byiers and Nathanial Arkwell.

Victoria Coaches Cup 1st Rd
Haven were far too good for Peterhead United with some clinical finishing as they ran out winners by 9 goals to 1 to go through to the last 8. The winning goals were scored by Jammie Masson and PA Bruce grabbing a hatrick each, and one a piece from Paul Duncan, James McDonald and Jordan Youngson and a consolation goal from United came from their manager Graeme Arthur.

Another first round tie saw Methlick have home advantage over Elizabethan Link Up and it was all square at the end of 90 minutes with both sides scoring twice. Grant Bowie and James Gracey for Methlick and for Link Up was Methlick went through winning 4-3 on penalties.

Tuesday 29.8.17-Deejays Nightclub League
New Pitsligo faced Balmoor in a league match which was expected to be a close affair and the home side went in front with a goal from Andrew Ferguson but the visitors hit back through Ross Mair to level the game. It could have gone either way but it was Pitsligo that came up with the winning goal from Dylan Fordyce.

Another league game saw League favourites Invercairn United face Panasonic and it was a comfortable win for the home side scoring 6 goals without reply. Scorers for Invercairn were Lee Wilby with a brace and one each from Lewis Tait, David Hadden, Euan Milne and John Smith.

Ship Inn League Cup 1st rd-Clinton Thistle faced Mormond Thistle for the second time within 10 days but in a Cup Tie but it was the same result with Mormond Thistle winning by the odd goal in three. The winning goals came from Ryan Grieg and Robbie Wilkinson and replying for the home side was Andrew Ritchie.

In a Quarter Final match New Deer had home advantage over neighbours Mintlaw FC and it was the away side that progress through to the Semi Finals scoring 5 times without reply. Mintlaw scorers wee Shaun Jamieson and Martin Burnette both netting twice each and one from Ryan Urquhart.

Friday 1 SeptemberInvercairn United faced Clinton Thistle and at half time the home side led by a single goal but in the se cond half the home side went on to score a further 4 goals without reply. Invercairn scorers were Aaron Garden with 2, (1 a Pen) and one each from Gary Summers James Gibb, and JJ Sim.

Panasonic hosted Bellslea and it was the away side that collected the 3 points winning bythe odd goal in seven. The winning goals came from Matthew Rutter a brace and one a piece from Calum Sinclair and Gavin Barclay and replying for Panasonic was Kevin Norris with 2 and Brandon McBain with the other.

Soccerworld League
Haven completed their league season with another fine win over Cuminestown after they went on to win by 3 goals to 1. Haven scorers were PA Bruce, Jed Gray and James McDonald and replying for the home side was James Williamson. Haven clinched promotion with a fine season 17 wins and one draw.

Ardallie Cup Group 2
Ardallie hosted Peterhead United and in a goals feast it was United who ran out winners by 12 goals to 4. United scorers were Zander Davidson, Calum Gasson, Paul Cluiet and Andrew Youngson all netting twice each and one a piece from Jamie Donald, Johnny McGarrol, Chris Reid and Jack Taylor and for Ardallie were Donald Pearson 2 and one each from Ryan Smith and Cameron Bruce.

Saturday 9 September Deejays Nightclub League Invercairn United take a step closer to securing the League Title after winning by two goals, they require a point against Bellslea on Tuesday night. Goals came from Gary Patterson and an own goal.

Bellsea faced Mormond Thistle and the home side just can’t score at present along with having Fraser Watt continuing in goals. Mormond seem to be getting better as the season goes on. The only goal of the game came from Charlie Scott.

Soccerworld League
Peterhead United faced Glenugie United in a vital game for the home side as they require to win their last 2 games to win promotion and they went on to win by 3 goals to 1. United scorers were Callum Gasson with a brace and one from Andrew Hepburn.

Ardallie Cup Semi Final was between Haven and Cuminestown and it was the home side that reach another final winning by 5 goals to 2. Haven goals were scored by PA Bruce 2 and one eachfrom Drew Marshall, Adam Cross and Alejandro Lettelier and replying for Town was 2 from Gavin Hadden.

Saturday 23.09.17 Deejays Nightclub League
St Combs faced New Deer in both their last games of the league season and with the score at 3 nil for the home side whose scorers were Matthew Byiers two and one from Alexander Third. The latter scorer went down injured. The game was abandoned with Alexander Third being taken to hospital by Ambulance with a suspected ankle/leg break. We all wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back playing again.

Another league game saw league winners Invercairn United travelling to faced league Runners up Balmoor who really struggled to field a team due to holidays/work and Injured players. It ended up with the away side netting 13 times. Scorers were John Smith 4, Arron Garden 2, and one each from Lee Wilby, Gilbert Paterson, Ian Bissett, James Gibb and an Own Goal.

Sunday 24.09.17 Highland Cup Semi Final
New Pitsligo played Bellslea for a place in the Final-Pitsligo took the lead early in the game when Cowe clashed with striker Reid earning Pitsligo a penalty which Reid converted. A cross floated in was met by Black and his glancing header made it 2 nil at half time. Bellslea came out flying in the second half and after a scramble in the box it fell to Josh McCrae to lash home. Bellslea then levelled the game with a penalty from Graeme Bain. As the match was heading for extra time Grant Gilbert scored home the winner for New Pitsligo.

Victoria Coaches Cup Semi Final
Cruden Bay faced Haven for a place in the Final with Crimond already waiting to play whoever wins today. It was always going to be an uphill battle for Bay and it was made worse when they could only field 9 men. It ended with Haven netting 13 times. Goal scorers were Elves Ferensas 4, PA Bruce, Jed Gray 2, and one each from David Dalziel, Charlie Spellman, Drew Marshall, and Alejandro Lettelier
Ardallie Cup Semi Final
Peterhead United faced Crimond for a place in the final against Haven. This was expected to be a close on to call and with the game level at 1 each it looked to be proved right antil the home side struck a further 3 goals to win by 4 goals to 1. United scorers were Jamie Donald, Mark Baker, Zander Davidson and James Timmins.

Thursday 28 September Deejays Nightclub League-
New Pitsligo hosted Mormond Thistle in the last league game of the season and it was the visitors who gathered all three points with Charlie Scott grabbing the only goal of the game.
Brucklay Cup Final

Invercairn United v Clinton Thistle
For the first 15 minutes neither side could create any scoring opportunities then United struck with a fast flowing move with 4 quick passes James Gibb was bearing down on gaol and the striker made no mistake with his finish. It stayed that way until just after half time when a mistake from the Clinton goal keeper let a soft strike by John Smith trickle into the net. Ex Clinton Player Willie Noble fired in a third to seal the match with a blistering strike from outside the box which flew in to the top corner.

Sat 7.10.17-Ship Inn League Cup 1st rd
Invercairn United faced Balmoor in a first round tie and the away side -wept through to the Quarter Finals by scoring 4 times without reply. Balmoor scorers were Owen Tocher, Scott Good, Damie Duncan and Mark Walker.

Q/Final
This saw Mormond Thistle face Bellslea for a place in the Semi Finals and this was expected to be a close affair going by the previous meetings. The home side ran out winners by three goals to one. The winning goals came from Ryan Cook with a brace and one from Nick Shewan. They now face Panasonic in the Semi Finals.
